| Nemurians are the inhabitants of the planet Aquarius. These creatures live along the planets ocean floor. Many have never even been up to the surface for large and ancient creatures guard the surface waters. The Nemurians wear heavy metals and gauntlets to keep them weighed down in the water. When in the water they are naturally fast swimmers and are able to fight for long periods of time as they do not breathe air but absorb moisture from their environment to sustain them. This allows them to surface and walk on land although typically they will return to the water to sleep a strong Nemurian can survive for weeks out of the water as long as they absorb enough water. They don't have or use any machines but instead rely on ancient magic as well as light crystals found deep in Aquarius. their light crystals are used to illuminate their cities, create weapons and create heat. Many of the underwater cities are carved out from the ancient coral on the ocean floor. The Nemurians know nothing of a world outside of their own, the surface world is restricted because of the dangers of the gods. So many believe their oceans extend forever. |
