This is John and me in Baxter Springs, KS after just completing over 400 miles of bicycling from the Texas/Oklahoma border to the Kansas/Oklahoma border.
It was a tiring ride, with it raining 3 times during the whole week.
Of course it had to rain on the last day. I remembered the night before,
I told myself that it wouldn't rain, so I just pitched my tent at the closest
area, so I wouldn't have to walk to far to load up my gear to the truck.
When it began to thunder at 3 AM, I realized, that I should have searched
for higher ground as the rain started flooding inside my tent.
I couldn't believe on how relieved I was to actually see the Kansas
border!!!
Well, my camera got waterlogged, and I'm hoping that the camera shop can fix it, and still salvage the film left in it. More photos on the way!
