Once at a concert, a fan ran up on stage and started chopping up the band with a chainsaw. First, he drove it into Linnell's chest and revved up the chainsaw which blew Linnell's flesh and blood everywhere. Then, he chopped off Flansburgh's legs and started slicing his guts. Flansburgh's guts got tangled up in the chainsaw blade and broke the chainsaw, so the guy stopped.
