| The alleged ' trial ' of Saddam Hussein being showcased by the corporate media now taking place in occupied Iraq should be but a precursor for a real trial in the very near future for everyone in the current ' Bush regime ' ! There is no doubt that the ' same charges ' of murder, torture, denial of due process and equal protection of the laws attributed to Hussein equally apply to the entirety of those occupying the White House inside the Beltway. The first part of Saddam' s charges concerns less than 200 hundred Shiites killed in and around a Mosque during an uprising instigated by the USA & Brits in their desire for a ' regime change ' following the Gulf War I scenario! Yet George W. Bush and his entourage of NEO-CON cronies could easily be charged with the death of over 2000 U.S. military Killed In Action, the death of upwards to 10,000 more from wounds, and the death in excess of 120,000 Iraqi non-combatants since his order to start bombing Baghdad in the middle of the night! At least the Japanese waited until sunrise to start WWII! The shame heaped upon all Americans by having a Viet Nam ' draft dodger ' lying before the United States Congress, lying before the United Nations, lying to multiple foreign governments, lying to the U.S. Military Commanders, and lying to the American public ~ all for the purpose to ' start a war ' ~ then proclaiming himself a ' war president ' ~ is beyond comprehension to any person with a sound and rational mind! But ' lying ' has become the daily dose of propaganda since Bush has entered the White House made even more exasperating as he now lies to deny he has lied to start a war that unleashed a chain of ' unintended consequences ' effecting all Americans! The second part of the charges facing Saddam Hussein relate to alleged use of ' poison gas ' to kill Kurdish rebels in yet another instigated uprising to overthrow his government. Iif Saddam were allowed a true defense, then he would be able to rely upon facts that it was George H.W. Bush and his CIA coverts that actually supplied and carried out those ' experimental chemical weapons ' attacks against the Kurds! Yet now we see uncovered in the last few weeks the fact that the U.S. Military has admitted using deadly ' white phosphorous ' against the population of Fallujah, a chemical weapon similar to napalm, and declared by a U.N. International Treaty as ILLEGAL to use in warfare ~ a treaty signed by the USA! Now if that is not a ' War Crime ' by definition, the killing of 10,000 people with poison gas, then what is? While the media has endlessly repeated how Hussein was a ' dictator ', can anyone prove the following against him? Has he destroyed the middle class in his country, as Bush has here? Did he open his borders to allow over 3 million illegal aliens in annually, along with assorted terrorists, human traffickers, drug smugglers, murderous gangs, ' white slavers ', and pedophiles, as Bush has? Did Saddam take away entitlements to his veterans, elderly and handicapped, as Bush has? Did he allow predatory corporations to exploit his citizens and stick-up every gas station in Iraq, as Bush has here in America? Did Saddam take away college tuition grants from middle class students to feed his war-machine, as has Bush? Did he take away Medicare or change the medical bankruptcy laws to force ' indentured servitude ' upon his population, as has Bush? Did Saddam import cheap foreign labor to rebuild Iraq after its destruction in Gulf War I, as Bush has done following Hurricane Katrina? Did he destroy his nation's textile, steel, agriculture and technological infrastructure in Iraq, as Bush has done here in America? Did Saddam ever have a plan drawn up by the Council of Foreign Relations in order to form a single ' community ', a nation without boundaries with the other countries on Iraq's borders, as Bush is planning here to merge Mexico, the USA & Canada into one ' community ' pursuant to the 70 page report entitled, ' Building a North American Community ' ? So when all is said and done, WHO is the total fraud? WHO represents the real ' Clear and Present Danger ' to every American Citizen? WHO has done more to weaken our security, eradicate the middle-class, and deepen the divisions in our society? WHO THEN SHOULD REALLY BE ON TRIAL FOR CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY? Currently over two-thirds of all Americans think this country is headed in the wrong direction! Did anyone ever think America would be a nation arguing for and not against, the right to torture POW's? Not since the days of the ' carpetbaggers ', ' scalawags ' and ' radical republicans ' following the War Between the States, has corruption, cronyism, and treachery been as bad as it is now under the despicable ' Bush regime ' ! But there is hope!
