... AND THEN SOME
So it has been with Rumsfeld and his dirty hands in the invasion and occupation of Afghanistan & Iraq ~ His announced plans for expanding the war into Iran as the surrogates for the Israeli Military Junta, just as the war in Viet Nam was expanded into its neighboring nations!
In a recent documentary shown on LinkTV titled, SPOTLIGHT: CODE NAME ARTICHOKE, the murder of Dr. Frank Olson was profiled when he allegedly fell out of a thirteen story hotel window on 28 Nov 53, while meeting fellow CIA agents. Dr. Olson had been a lead scientist for the CIA secretly experimenting on prisoners through the use of drugs, hypnosis, rigorous brainwashing and torture against suspected Soviet agents following WW I I.
The true purpose of the hotel meeting in New York City was to discuss Dr. Olson ' s plans to make public the torture of Cold War prisoners and biological weapons used by the USA in the Korean War! On behalf of the Olson family, Eric Olson had his father ' s body exhumed for forensic clues of drug inducement to prove his father ' s murder, and in the course of events the Olson family was invited to the White House by Gerald Ford in 1976 the sole purpose to insure the Olson family did not take their case to court! Yet from recently de-classified documents on this matter, none other than Donald Rumsfeld and Dick Cheney, senior White House staff members in t he ' Ford regime ' had their dirty hands prevent all relevant documents from being given to the Olson family!
Now what do we find thirty years later ? Once again we find Rumsfeld & Cheney directly involved in the decisions and orders to kidnap, detain, & torture thousands of Afghan & Iraqi civilians and prisoners -
of-war in the former Soviet ' Gulags ' located across Eastern Europe into Uzbekistan ~ not to forget Abu Ghraib, Guantanamo, and Bagram!
Just as the Viet Nam war began as a LIE over the alleged ' Gulf of Tonkin ' incident that never really happened, we saw that war escalated & expanded as a direct and proximate result of the war-profiteers
in the Military Industrial Complex! Once again, we see almost the same scenario as the justification for
the illegal invasion and occupation of Afghanistan and Iraq which was based on similar LIES about nonexistent WMD ' s by the same moneylenders and war-profiteers! Once more, we see the dirty hands of Donald Rumsfeld and Dick Cheney dripping from the blood of our American military once again.
The list of high ranking USA Military Officers in this latest round of voices demanding Rumsfeld step down includes the whole gamut of tacticians, logistics, operations, and field brigade, division and corp officers involved in both Gulf War I & II, who have recently resigned or retired in order to speak out against the failed policies in the hope of preventing the future loss of any more USA military personnel! The most recent include: Army Maj. Gen. John Batiste; Marine Lt. Gen. Gregory Newbold; Army Maj. Gen. John Riggs; Marine Gen. Anthony Zinni, former chief of U.S. Central Command, Army Maj. Gen. Charles Swannack; and Army Maj. Gen. Paul Eaton.
Each has recently retired as they and their respective commands faced fatigue, extended tours, repeated tours and low morale bordering on mutiny among the field commanders and rank & file troops! And all of them have pointed their finger at Rumsfeld and his failures to admit the reality of the deteriorating cumulative circumstances ~ the scenario faced by American Troops in Viet Nam!
The present wave of openly public disdain against Rumsfeld by military officers under his command is unprecedented in USA history, yet it is in full compliance with the terms of the Nuremberg Tribunal following WW I I, and the current military code that permits disobedience of any Order contrary to Moral Justification and unjustified loss of life!
By speaking out, these officers are separating themselves from being implicated or charged with the ' War Crimes ' potentially facing their Civilian Masters and their amoral policy decisions! This is exactly the dilemma now faced by all those in the ' Bush regime ' since their collective WAR CRIMES can now come back to haunt them all, individually and collectively, and see them each listed as persona non grata up to and including their arrest on charges as WAR CRIMINALS!
While these warmongering and profiteering NEOCONS are holding public office, they have diplomatic immunity from arrest, charges, and trial ~ but the moment they leave office, they can be charged with a Bill of Particulars for their War Crimes! And that means that their first step outside USA borders, they can be arrested by any nation, taken to THE HAGUE, and put on trial for their War Crimes!
Thus what they have attempted to do to others can now be done to them! The recent arrest of Charles Taylor of Liberia is a prime example! And since both current wars and occupation are illegal under International Law, compounded by the mistreatment of civilians and POW ' s in violation of the Geneva Convention and the terms of the Nuremberg Tribunal following W W I I ~ the entirety of the
' Bush regime ' can be so charged ~ from top to bottom accordingly! Who would not want to see Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Powell, Rice, Wolfowitz, Pearle, Gaffney, and their fellow NEOCONS all taken in chains to THE HAGUE to stand trial ?
That would mean Social Justice in this lifetime for sure! Next should follow the multinational corporate CEO ' s of the Oil Cartels who profited from this latest round of warmongering! Perhaps then persons in authority and powerful positions would think twice before causing future harm and injury to others! As it stands now, corporate war-profiteers manufacture and sell the weapons for war and destruction, then stand in line for ' no-bid ' contracts to rebuild ~ only no rebuilding is taking place! War has now become a criminal enterprise and predatory racket!
Thus Rumsfeld may be the ' first to go ' , driven from public office for his lies, corruption, treachery and treason and he may very well be the first charged with War Crimes ~ not to mention the myriad of civil lawsuits that will plague him to his death, by those he ordered abused as well as from the families of those he put to death!
Just as Domestic Laws punish those who rape, pillage, plunder and kill for personal gain, so too do International Laws now bring punishment upon those who misuse their governmental powers to inflict injury, pain, death and destruction upon others! Hopefully the self-acclaimed
' legacy ' of the ' Bush regime ' will see JUSTICE DESERVED - JUSTICE DELIVERED - and then some!
