The despicable hypocrisy displayed by the ' Bush regime ' in general is bad enough for the whole world to now hold America in contempt as a result of our current miserable political leadership! But to proclaim in one breath that we are at war to promote ' democracy ', and the ' American way-of-life ', and then be seen as the worse torturers of POW's since Viet Nam, Pol Pot, the Israelis, and the fall of the Soviet Union is quite another indeed! No government in history could be worse than the ' Bush regime ' for its utter lies, deceptions, corruptions and blatant hypocrisy ! While Bush made the pretense of being a ' born again Christian ' and a ' compassionate conservative ' during his political campaigns to appeal to the so-called ' Christian Coalition ', his notorious lies and deceptions to invade and occupy Afghanistan and Iraq and the corresponding death and destruction he has fomented could make anyone believe that he instead is the ' anti-Christ ' or a facsimile. Since actions speak louder than words, if we take Bush at face value, his actions definitely do not match his words ~ in fact, his words are meaningless in the face of the reality of his wars, destruction, and the massive numbers of persons detained and tortured to date. And to add insult to injury to all those tortured, raped, maimed and killed ~ the so-called ' punishment ' rendered to date for these war crimes by the self-serving military courts under the control of the ' Bush regime ' makes any statements by Bush even more of a farce and disgrace. Although the orders for torture came from the very top of the ' Bush regime ' down, so far only a handful of low-grade officers & soldiers have received ' reprimands ' and actual ' punishments ' ranging from a coupleof months to a couple of years ~ far less than what would have been expected for their severity and cruelty! The whole of the Arab world is repulsed by the mere ' slap-on-the-wrist ' given to date to those allegedly ' punished ' for their war crimes. And this is a generation hardened to such torment from the hands of the Israelis against the Palestinians who have suffered six-decades of such mistreatment. The negative image of America, regarded in the Arab world as a ' Christian nation ', howbeit tied to the Zionist-Israelis, only furthers the massive distrust and hypocrisy ! The added fact that very few voices have raised an outcry in Congress from any Republicans or Democrats of notable stature only worsens the image of America at home and abroad as a result of the policies of the ' Bush regime ' . For while our media pretends to be promoting ' democracy ' abroad, we see no ' democratic process ' or outcry against those holding political positions in the ' Bush regime ' being charged or tried for their war crimes ~ as the USA once accomplished against the political leaders of defeated WWII nations, or as accused against the combatant nations during the Korean and Viet Nam conflicts! In fact, the war crimes committed under orders by the Occupation Forces in Iraq to date equal or exceed those charged against Saddam Hussein by the very persons in the ' Bush regime ' that gave the orders against Iraqi POW's. Anyone who reads the mighty ' Declaration of Independence ' & the ' Bill of Rights ' of the U.S.Constitution instantly can recognize that the ' Bush regime ' has violated the Citizens of Afghanistan and Iraq in a worse manner than did King George III to Our Colonial Forefathers! And the hypocrisy is only worsened by the fact that those in the ' Bush regime ' making such horrid policies and decisions each took an ' Oath of Office ' to uphold the very principles for which they now betray. So too have those cowards in Congress whose consent is heard in their silence! Finally, as egregious as these violations, there remains the violation of the Geneva Convention, the Charter of the United Nations, and the myriad of U.N. resolutions condemning such barbarous actions on the part of warring parties. The solution to such shameful acts and commissions is the election of a Reform government that will honor and uphold the principles for which Our Forefathers founded this nation contained within the Preamble of the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the Declaration of Independence. And once that takes place ~ then those guilty of war crimes can be appropriately brought to Justice as a way of proving to the nations of the world that we Americans truly act upon Our Beliefs for Righteousness Sake! Only then will those around the world again respect our words and actions! Join the Ranks of Reform today to build a better world tomorrow! |
