| With gasoline prices almost three times what they were before the ' Bush regime ' occupied the White House and began its illegal wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, it is becoming quite clear that America is in trouble at home and abroad as a direct and proximate result of bad policies! And what is even more atrocious is the ' Consent by Silence ' of the cowards in Congress where less than a dozen or so have had the courage to stand up and speak out against the many failed policies. Yet the corporate media has refused to report or encourage any policy debates since the same Special Interests that bribe those in Congress with campaign funds are also the same advertisers and stockholders of the corporate media. Thus America is caught in a vicious grip of the self-serving multinational corporations chasing after war-profiteering and predatory practices! Corporate America and Congress have failed to place The Common Good before Self or any Special Interest! The biggest losers to date have been the middle-class American workforce, particularly members of organized labor unions, who have seen corporate mergers downsize, mesmerize, pulverize, pauperize American workers and their families ~ both together! While the first duty of each Citizen is to work with his mind or with his body within the frame- work of the community for the general good and for the benefit of each individual, family and society, that cannot be accomplished when there is a ruling regime working at cross purposes! The ' partnership ' that once existed between each Citizen and their government has long ago been replaced by domestic and foreign Special Interests who promote laws that benefit themselves at the expense of everyone else! Historically the first duty of the national government is to protect the necessities of life, food, clothing and shelter, and not to secure the highest possible profits for moneylenders, private banks, and profiteers. Yet it is now apparent to everyone who looks, that the current ' Bush regime ' is perhaps the most corrupt government in all of USA history to date and that its policies have undermined and systematically destroyed the middle-class of America! Currently almost half of all unemployed are ' white collar ' workers with college educations with ' middle-management ' skills and training ~ but NO JOBS AVAILABLE since the ' Bush regime ' is providing ' corporate welfare ' and ' financial incentives ' for domestic corporations to move overseas, outside USA boundaries! Behind that comes ' outsourcing ' whereby foreigners in distant foreign lands are replacing the middle-management positions once held by American workers! And lastly there comes the illegal immigrants to replace the ' blue collar ' workers in all job classifications across the board due to the willful failure to control our borders! The combined effect is the systematic destruction of the middle-class American workforce ~ and it does not matter if one is black or white, red or yellow ~ the same unemployment faces all! And to add insult to injury, all one needs to do these days is apply for a job and then quickly find out that IT'S NOT WHAT YOU KNOW that matters! Companies no longer test for skills, knowledge, prior training or experience ~ NO ~ what they test for is ' personality profiles ' so that no one will rock the boat, all will be pliable, and the company can treat their employees as expendable ' Temps ' on an ' easy come - easy go ' basis! In short, there is no job security anymore since any domestic corporation at any moment can simply replace its entire workforce with foreigners! And where are the voices of the Democrats or Republicans in Congress opposing the SELL OUT OF AMERICAN JOBS? Oh, there they are, sucking down their martinis while sucking up to the capitalist corporate predators and promoting even more ' privatization ' intended to enslave all Americans on corporate global plantations! The only political party in American that openly opposes such treachery and offers a better alternative, is the Reform Party USA with its ' 10 POINTS of REFORM for AMERICA ' ! We believe in the restoration of the U.S. Treasury Banking system and the U.S. Note! We support Organized Labor Unions to protect worker's rights! We believe in ' Fair Trade ' not 'free trade'! And we believe in the restoration of public corporations to protect and manage our Nation's natural resources! We say NO to privatization of government services and believe they should be managed by a professional class of Civil Servants! It's time to restore Honor and Integrity to government again ~ it's time for REFORM! Join the Reform movement today for a better America tomorrow! |
