Welcome To My SiteAbout This SiteI am a designer, illustrator, and animator, so the primary purpose of this site is to highlight my skills and experience. I enjoy the challenge of putting together a coherent, functional, and user-friendly web site with nice design touches. I have a special love for cartooning and animation, and am proficient at print design and prepress setup. I also have substantial experience as a print production manager and a proposal production coordinator. This is a "multi-tasking" world, and my years of experience have prepared me for that. This site is fairly simple since I was compelled to get one up quickly. It will undergo frequent revision and updating as I use my skills and knowledge to enhance it. I built it in Dreamweaver 3.0, and used Fireworks 3.0 to optimize all the graphics except the navbar graphics, which were optimized in Image Ready 3.0. I used CSS for the formatting. I have worked in Dreamweaver 4.0, and will be acquiring it for home use in the very near future. I have also built sites with Home Page and GoLive (I have GoLive! 5.0), and built my very first site with raw HTML. No frames in this site (yet), but I'm a practiced user of frame sets, having built them in raw HTML code as well as applications like Dreamweaver. When I find an appropriate application for frames on this site, I will add them. Otherwise, I will have frame set-driven pages on my alternate site (currently under construction and not yet linked to this site). Asset Gathering and Asset Management I'm very good at what I call “asset gathering”—the art of pulling together not only all the assets needed for a project, but also the appropriate and designer friendly version of the assets. I'm relatively new to asset management applications, but have had some exposure to Canto Cumulus. I'm very eager to become a proficient user of such applications, and will even ad one to my home applications repertoire when time and budget allow. This site will undergo frequent revisions in capabilities, and probably in design, though less frequently than with capability upgrades. I welcome your comments on both my site and its content.
