Matt and I meet in high school. We were both in band and sat by each other for 2 years. Matt was a junior and I was a freshman. We both played the Trumpet and I thought he was so sexy in his band uniform! Ha Ha! I always thought he was so cute and the sweetest guy. Yet he thought that I was so annoying and talked too much. He said he always thought I was cute and had pretty hair. He always thought that I was like a little sister figure and he just never thought of me like that. I always had the biggest crush on him and everyone knew except him. Then Matt graduated and went off to college. I would see him every now and then, but that is about it. Then in 2002 him mother and sister came into my work place. His sister got my number so we could go hang out, because his sister, Missy and I were friends in high school. That night after I got off work I went and rented some movies. I was in line waiting to check out and there Matt was. It turns out he was back home going to school and was working at the movie place. He was very busy, but I noticed that he kept on looking at me. He was so busy that I did not say Hi, but as I was walking out he said “Hey Robyn!” I said, “Hi and I’ll see you later!” He said that at that moment he thought to his self, “I just might see you later!” He ended up calling me and we went to the movies and dinner just as friends. We had such a good time and when we left we hugged. After we got back we were both thinking, “What is going on?” From that moment on we have been together and it has been so right. |
