The Prophecy | ||||||
And so it shall come to pass That in times of Darkness In which the Raven's death A bone-white hand caused, The Dragon shall come again And His breath shall scour the world. His birthright shall be claimed From the jaws of Demons, From the Dragon-Beast Shall the Dragon-Man take life, Again, as before, ever as always, Time is the river without end. Forges rekindled, Halls reclaimed, Streams of Silver run again, Our blood and life. Dragon-Child, born from father's crown, Breaks the world And reshapes it in his image. Know thou the signs of His coming Mountain's mouth shall spew forth Childer of darkness, multitudes untold Unto the lands of Men. Eagle, Serpent, Boar shall fall Hunted and crushed beneath Death's feet. Thou shalt know Him by His blade Crafted by Ancients long past; Golden-bright, silver-shining Blade of legend, Name of Power. From the fires of Time A forge of strength and eldritch metal. In times of Darkness, in the Dragon's wake Mountain, Forest, Plains united Shall stand before the black tide And will be found wanting. Only in the Dragon's wings will they find victory. The Dragon, crowned by mountains King and Usurper alike Prince and subject to all. His reign shall be fire, His uniform black with ash Sunset gold on His blade. Screams of the Dead, Death in multitudes His companion Walking with Light. His shield defends the wicked, the righteous perish in flame. The Book shall be opened He names the slain within it. Mountain mouths open from jaws of fire The land will be made black and Death walks unhindered. Shattered crowns, He shall destroy Time. Water bends to His will Flame follows in His wake Air in His breath and Voice And the Earth responds to His call. |
