Opposite are two images of Sentinel S4 works number 9192 as it enters the grounds of Stanway House during the road run from the Gloucestershire & Warwickshire Railway event on October 18th 2003.
The route took various engines from the 'Gala' site at Toddington in Gloucestershire to the picturesque grounds and back again, providing ideal photographic opportunities.
The S4 in question was built in 1935 and was restored to its current condition by Geoff Peach from Coventry with the help of Steve Hill and Paul Latford who are regular crew members. |
