The Roller Sports Ontario Speed Points Series is an inline skating points series that has an indoor points series and an outdoor points series.

The Roller Sports Ontario Speed Points Series was conceived by the Speed Committee of Roller Sports Ontario, the Governing Body for Roller Speed Skating in the Province of Ontario, Canada. The idea for the series was presented to the Speed Committee by Peter Doucet and after many hours of work by the Speed Committee, the final product was unveiled in April of 2003.

The grouping system and ranking system are some of the strengths of the points series. With a small comminity of skaters in Ontario and beyond, the points series meets the needs of the local skating community by allowing skaters to compete with each other based on ability and not age or gender. This is particularly important considering the relative small size of the local skating community as well as the differing abilities of skaters.

The ranking system allows for skaters to compete with others that are close in ability and is flexible enough to compensate for the fact that skaters will improve their fitness and abilities during the season. All skaters are ranked on one global list which is broken-down into age and gender groups at the end of the season and the skaters are recognized for their achievements.

With relatively low entry fees, the points series is affordable. It has been decided that the profits derived from the points series will be split 3 ways, including: subsidizing clinics, supporting the Ontario skaters who attend the World Championships, and re-investing the money back into the points series.
