| Meals on Wheels Program |
| The Meals on Wheels Program is one of the most important programs that RSVP participates in. Throughout Umatilla and Morrow County, meals are provided to individuals who are unable to cook for themselves, and who are unable to get out of their homes to go to a meal site. We have Meals on Wheels Drivers in Pendleton, Hermiston, Milton-Freewater, Stanfield, and Irrigon. With the exception of Pendleton, each of these meal sites only operates one or two days per week. Drivers work either alone or in pairs. They deliver a hot meal, and several freezer meals to those on the schedule. Drivers give one to two hours per week working in this program. Drivers are covered by additional automobile insurance in excess to their current coverage. We do not pay mileage. Drivers also receive a free meal on the days which they work. Currently, we have a great need for additional drivers in both Milton-Freewater and Pendleton. Please contact our office if you are intrested.
