The ideology of  (R-TAC) is Nkrumahism-Tureism. The overall and long-range objective of (R-TAC) is to utilize its resources and energies towards the attainment of Revolutionary Pan- Africanism and the building of a Revolutionary Pan-African political party. In our view, Revolutionary Pan-Africanism can be only correctly defined as the total liberation and unification of Africa under scientific socialism; this definition necessarily includes the liberation of Africans in the Diaspora, who suffer from the effects of capitalism and racism. This definition of Pan-Africanism implies that Africans outside of Africa are not a nation, but parts of the developing African nation and are an integral part of the African revolution and a vital part of the evolutionary Pan-African strategy. Africans of the Diaspora must make revolution where they are and be an organized link to the overall African revolutionary process and recognize that the core of the African Revolution is in Africa, the one and only legitimate home of all Africans.

One of R-TAC's most important activities is the development of Revolutionary Pan-African work-study circles that will help educate, nurture and train future generations of students and youth, workers and scholars and organizers, and inspire them to give service to Africa and other oppressed peoples in every corner of the world. We seek to aid in the organization of the African community and the organization of African organizations into united fronts and the organizational linking of African organizations in the community with revolutionary African organizations and other revolutionary and anti-imperialist organizations worldwide.
