482nd Tactical Fighter Wing

Homestead Air Force Base, Miami, Florida, 1982-1990



The 482nd Tactical Fighter Wing comprised 89th and 93rd Tactical Fighter Squadrons from Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio and Homestead AFB, Florida. Component squadrons re-equipped with F-4D between 1982-1983. Both squadrons re-equipped with the F-16A/B Falcon between 1989 and 1990.
