Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, Goldsboro, North Carolina, 1967-1970


The 336th TFS attached to 4th Tactical Fighter Wing on 8 December 1957. Squadron equipped with F-4D (previously flown F-105D Thunderchief) at Seymour Johnson AFB, North Carolina in 1967. The 336th TFS (previously flown F-105D Thunderchief) equipped with F-4D at Seymour Johnson AFB, North Carolina in 1967. 336th TFS deployed to Kwangju AB, South Korea, following the USS Pueblo crisis between June 1968 and July 1969. The squadron returned to CONUS base and started to re-equip with the F-4E during 1970.
