Bob retired from USDA
Before my retirement in 1991, I was employed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture as National Statistics Officer in the Market News Agency of the Poultry Division. During my government career, I received 3 Certificates of Merit. Upon retirement, I received the Distinguished Service Award from The National Market News Association.
In this photo, I was at my desk using a calculator. Before I left the agency, we had computerized our reports. Now I use our networked home computers for e-mail, to surf the Internet, and to keep up with Georgia sports, including those occasions when Georgia games aren't available over TV.
