Photographer Piper Ferguson brought me onto this project. Piper wanted a 50's feel in regards to the look of the C.D. She bought the pink satin fabric and asked me to make a dress. I took the four feet of satin, cut a few pieces for the straps and pined the rest of the fabric to the model in a very 50's style. By adding the accesories and the flower in her hair I think it gives to photos just the right bit of 50's flare. If you look at the dress in the photo for the inside of the C.D. and compare it to the photo used on the back of the C.D. you will see the waist line is different. That is part of the magic of starting from just a piece of fabric. |
