Que Chingon Es Mexico?

Arriving in Mexico on the third of January of the year 2000, I was not sure what to expect.  Cholula, a small town of seventy'five thousand, with 78 churches formulating the forefront of the skyline.  Being a Jew in such a Catholic society I was interested in checking out this religious Mecca in mesoamerica that dates back to the time of the great Aztec civilization and even earlier.  the largest pyramid in the world by volume lies in the outskirts of the main part of town.

The amazing scenery is breathtaking in almost all parts of the country I have travelled to.  So far, I have spent two weekends in Mexico City.  the first venture to the largest mass of people and industrial chaos that I have ever witnessed was when I visited my friend Rene.  He showed me a really good time in the city.  We went to a really cool club called Ficcion, which was an old colonial house with three large rooms, open bar, loungy atmosphere and an outdoor fiesta.  One of the highlights of this trip was our day trip to the Toltec capital, Tula.  This ancient ruins is known for the great Atlantes which are giant sculpture warriors with lasers, pretty chill.
The second adventure to DF was really phat.  We climbed the great pyramids of Teotihuacan and were able to see amzing sites of the ruins and the surrounding land from atop the pyramids built in praise of the Gods of the sun and moon.  We also went to see the murals at the Palace in DF of Diego Rivera.  They were so cool.  At night, Rene picked me and Mark up in the 1957 Chevy and we cruised the city checking out some really cool bars.  One place that had a really cool atmosphere is called Coyacan.

Just really dug this picture that my friend took.
Creo que esta foto es muy chido.
