ESL Stuff: Lesson Plans, worksheets, puzzles, etc. ABC Teach: This site has just about anything a teacher might need. Too much stuff to mention here. Activities for ESL Students: A sight with quizes and puzzles, some of which are bi-lingual. Asian ESL Journal: Articles about teaching ESL. Bananaboo: A great site for elementary teachers looking for stuff to do with their classes. CBC for Kids: Has alot of online games which may or may not be convertible to a classroom setting. CNN Education: Could be useful for higher level students. Daily Word Searches: Ahhh, word searches. A great way to kill the last part of class, when you run out of material to teach. ESL through Music: A great concept and could give the kids a much needed break from their usual classroom routine. Business English: Lots of stuff here for older classes, especially in a corporate setting. Scorpi.com: An interesting site especially if you want to jazz up those handouts or power point lessons. Fastq: A links page with lots of links to companies which have free educational stuff to download. The History Channel: More source material for your classes. Geography World: An interesting site covering all things related to this topic. ESL Kids: A great site for younger students. Karen's ESL Partyland: Yet another site with loads of lessonplans to make our lives easier. Can you say plagerism? Preschool Printables: Full of games and stuff for younger students. Isabel's ESL Site: Seems to be related to teaching spanish kids. Could be useful. John's ESL Community: A great looking site, though slow loading I thought. Kotesol: This is an organisation of Foreign and Korean teachers who actively meet to share ideas. Activity Village: A UK site with lots of printables and other stuff. Kids Midis: If your connected to the internet, this site has alot of kids songs, karoke style. No downloads, though. Dosity: Another useful site. Preston Online: A publisher actually offering free stuff. Who'd have thought? Mark's ESL Site: This is a great links page. So, if you can't find it here, try there. Family Education: A site actually for parents, but has useful stuff for teachers, too. A to Z Teacher's Stuff: Another great source for classroom material. All about Colouring: If all else fails, colouring always works to keep the little...er, students busy. Worksheets Unlimited: Just what the link says, though, I think there is an actual limit, but who am I to criticize. The Teacher's Guide: Another useful site for younger students. |
