(Archive) September 2001-February 2002
02/26- Tomorrow, The Product is making a surprise attack on the civillians of Georgies Wed Feb 27th 2002 with Crazed and a third band/set to be announced(ended up being us). Actually, we just found out about it this afternoon. Show to start around 10:30, no cover.
02/14- Another typically intense showing last night, although not perfect, the public is actually starting to like it! Thanks goes out to all who showed up, especially the mysterious 'rose queen', well actually I don't think that her identity is much of a mystery, nor is she actually royalty, but this way it just sounds cooler.
02/12- The next mission is upon us, and The Product is ready for it's battle of valentines.  While our quantity of productivity during March is uncertain, The Product will in fact be playing thursday May 9 at The Zoo with Ciaira's Tears and Burnbox, admission is free.  On saturday April 13, The Royal Albert is rumored to be under attack by the likes of Crazed, Zablotniks, Ciaira's Tears, possibly The Velvet Pill, and of course, The Product. Admission would roughly be 4-5$, an exact lineup is yet to be confirmed. More to come....
01/26- New additions, along with a great turnout fuelled The Product's most intense set of memory. Thanks to all that took part, pics (courtesy of Chris S) of the show have been added to the photos section.
01/23- As the moment of truth approaches, The Product has also confirmed of a Feb 13th date (almost valentines....the metalest day of the year), at Wise Guys (off campus) with Cone Five, in which we will be playing at 10pm. Propaganda can be found nyaw. Wednesday nights always spell 'party' now don't they.
01/01- The Product's official web site has now been effective for it's first full year and has surpassed it's first 'k' of hits. And to think, we don't even have any porn up in here. Well, mabye if you have like a gas mask fetish or something........ Anywho, The Product wasn't going into the new year without any big news, effective as of now the vox position has been transferred to newcomer  0112-M-7967-D-010, TFSI : Mike Dearman. Simultaneously, we regret to inform that 008 has been uninstalled. ...His name is Chad Giesbrecht... his name is Chad Giesbrecht...
01/01- To catch The Product, including the initiation of 010 and our new live keyboardist v4.0, check the Zoo thursday January 24th 2002, no cover. With us, is Ciaira's Tears and Jerkwater.
12/21- Looks like Santa came a little early and left a couple new additions for The Product.  0112-M-7967-D-010, TFSI : Mike D is working in our conditioning camp to become an activated member, while 0112-J-9862-K-v4.0, TFSI : Jeff is in the process of being installed as a live accessory.
12/11- For all who care, The Product looks to have failed "Mission-Make Ten Million Dollars In 2001", in fact we didn't even get past the first round of the Georgies battle. Instead the 'heavy night' was won by local 'lounge' acts Lustre Hazy. Will this get in the way of our plan of world domination by 2003? Only time will tell, but don't worry folks, morale in the Product camp is still high.
12/06- Last night The Product played a very ummm...spirited set. Everything fucked up and it was absolutely spectacular. Energy was at an all time high. Note to self : try to avoid house drum kits and unknown brands of batteries at all costs. I blame it all on Osama Bin Laden. Thanks for the great turnout. (not sarcastic :  )
11/09- In updating news of upcoming shows, The Product will be assaulting the public wed Nov 21 at Wise Guys (off-campus) we'll be playing at 9pm (lol). On wed Dec 5 at Georgies we'll be playing the Battle of the Bands, and thurs Jan 24 we are hooking up with Ciaira's Tears and Jerkwater at the Zoo. Also look out for a showcase coming in the future at the West End with Crazed and others.
11/01- With recent international happenings, The Product is looking to add to the troops. The need for keyboards & samples is hightning as the cold winter faces us, applicants welcome. (position filled)
10/26- The Albert curse has apparently been lifted as The Product played an error free show at Spooky Fest with Crazed and Dypsomania. Until we find out otherwise, we'll just assume that the curse was lifted due to 007 overcoming his fears of the Albert's toiletpaper-less bathrooms. Overall, best 7.50$ ever earned. It's a Spooky Fest miracle!
10/12- After another 'fun' show at the Albert "it would be more plesant to play a show inside my ass than at the Albert" - 007, we once again thank those who took part, as well as Neptune's Convoy for giving us a chance to play. The Product will be closing a show wed Oct 17 at Wise Guys (not on campus), tix are free from the band. Also, don't forget about The Product at Spooky Fest thurs Oct 25 with Crazed at....yes........the Albert! Don't worry, Jenn will make sure that this one will lack the pungent smell of appearence's past there....hopefully.
10/04- Thanks to all that showed up to Georgies last night as well as Indy Nosebone, all in all it was a succesful outing. Pics from Jenn & Kert to come.
09/30- The Product will be playing with Neptune's Convoy at the Royal Albert on Saturday Oct 6. 4$ cover charge, show starts @ 10:30. Check the poster.
09/19- The Product will be playing two half-hour sets wed Oct 3rd at Georgies with Indy Nosebone to open. Admission is free but you'll need to be at least 18, photo ID required. Check it.
09/16- In technical news, we have recently recieved an e-mail from geocities, congradulating us, stating that our site has become quite popular, (for a geocities site which contains NO porn) because of this they want to cut down on our traffic by periodicly shutting down our site as they see fit. Makes sense to me. Long story short, we will stay here and see how it goes, but if it gets to be too much, we may look into other options.
