08/06- The Aug 30th show (as seen on the main page) is obviously now confirmed. We have also tentatively been given friday Sept 6th for our 2nd round appearance in the Search for Ra NRG band battle at the Pyramid. If it's not on the 6th, it may be on the 4th of Sept so I guess we'll see. |

07/26- The Customer Is Always Necessary is now available at Music Baron downtown, and CD Plus.com in Madison Square. As a result of their latest operation, The Product now involves bassist 0207-S-4975-R-011, TFSI: Shawn Reyher. Our next show is anyone's guess, but we are most likely playing Aug 30th at The Albert. |

07/07- The takeover began last night with an overall excellent show. Each band captured the crowd from beginning to end. Thanks to Jenn for taping the show, Foat for the photography, Mel, Porkchop & Ian for running the CD table, Mark & Will for manning the door when needed, and everyone else for coming out. CD's will be available in selected stores sometime this week, stay tuned ...... |

06/29- At 1 am on monday nights(tues morning) check out Into The Void on UMFM 101.5, as they were kind enough to plug the big show and I believe had some tickets to give away. Also plugging has been CKUW 95 and ironically even Gordo at 92City. We hope to also hook up with Power97. |

06/15- Now you can get to The Product a little easier with our new web address : http://theproduct.cjb.net. Exact same site, just less pop-ups and easier address to shout at people. Thanks goes out to Neuroshock, who pointed me to the light. |

06/05- Well in another typical Product/band competition relationship, The Product played to about 8 people (including staff) last night at the Pyramid, we were given an unfavourable time slot, 001 broke an essential string mid way through, causing us to change our set in mid flight, and we somehow advanced to the next round. This means another upcoming show with Toby! Word has probably gone out that 009 is parting ways after the CD release party (July 6). |

05/22- As you may have noticed, we now have our Die Ausfalle MP3 up on the net, with some hefty instructions involded. just click the link and it'll all be explained there. Also, if you don't know the band, or won't have a chance to see us along the way, you can still find tickets for our CD release at Into the Music (167 Osborne), and Music Baron (340 Portage) for 7$. The sooner people buy, the better of a show we will be able to put on. |

05/14- So the opening bands for our CD release will be as follows : local trip hoppers/drum & bass Rhinoceros will be on at 9pm, followed by the one and only Crazed at 10pm. The night will start off light and get heavier as it goes on. Tix are now available from the bands at 7$, and soon we hope to have a few in stores (to be posted as they are confirmed). The CD's, which were succesfully mixed in 16 hours last saturday, and are currently being mastered, will hopefully be ready in early June. That having been said, don't expect to see a copy before the release party! We plan on trying to put up 1 or 2 MP3's on the site for a taste, but we'll see..... Anyone interested in being on our mailing list for our upcoming newsletter can e-mail me here |

05/06- Just added in the photos section are pics from our April 13th show and some shots of us in the studio. There will be more studio pics to come. As for the CD Release, the other bands will be finalized this week and we will start to promote soon. Between the night of friday May 17 and the morning of sunday May 19, all Geocities sites will be down, so you'll have to get your gas mask fixes somewhere else. Oh, there are also some more lyrics up in the product section. |

04/28- The recording went well and even with the power surges and computer wackyness, we got everything done in 15.5 hours. It was considered a success by all involved, including both the Ryans, who made it as least stressful of an experience as possible. We now just have to mix it on May 11th to complete the process. You can also check us out next saturday May 4th @ The Albert. |

04/24- "Yes it sure looks like things are finally falling into place for The Product", is what we would be saying right now if the shit WASN'T fucked, but guess what folks ... unfortunately due to financial circumstances (to be revealed at our next press conference), The Product - being the poor bastards that they are - can no longer afford to make a full CD. The plan now is to make a more affordable EP instead of a full length, as one of the 4 fine young gents which make up The Product, sadly is leaving. Will it be 007? 009? 010? Could it even be 001? Stay glued to The Product as more pieces of this story unfolds! I know what you're all thinking, "Will The Product still be performing all the mentioned dates?" "Will there still be Product to buy?" "Is 001 really a priest?" "Can I still pay 7 dollars to see The Product's release party at the West End?" Simply put : yes, yes, no, and yes. |

04/16- As The Product works feverishly on album stuff, t-shirts and other propaganda, don't forget about our Mike Wegg benefit this thursday April 18, and our saturday gig on the 20th (we need your money for both causes). That having been said, we plan on dropping the bomb on July 6th at the West End Cultural Center. Get your first crack at picking up our first full length CD The Customer Is Always Necessary, and hopefully we'll have shirts and other crazy crap with our company logo on it, available too. Exact prices are yet to be determined, but expect that it'll be cheaper at the "party". |

04/05- The Product's first full legth album recording is to take place at Mid Ocean Studios, and will be produced by Ryan McVeigh along with whomever else up for an aneurysm. As tracking will take place in late April, and mixing in early May, a projected release date stands at July 6. It will be the second release on T.E.O.E.R., but the first in our hearts. |

03/26- The following members were born on this day : 001 - end message. The Product has joined forces with local promoters and artist collective Conifera. It's not a label, but a grouping of bands and visual artists to help one another out. |

03/21- The Product is trying to gather a few open minds who may be interested in doing their part in the war against intolerance. The job will require close combat with the enemy, only those who are willing to kill or be killed should apply. Well actually we are just wanting to start up some sort of newsletter to send out with updates and info of what's up with Product related issues, anyone who is interested in receiving such propaganda, can just e-mail The Product. Name your e-mail "newsletter" or something like that, and mabye tell us who you are. |

03/13- Added to The Product's task list are a couple of more shows at The Albert. On thursday April 18th is a special one, in which all proceeds (5 buck cover) will go to The Make A Wish Foundation in honour of late friend/fellow musician Mike Wegg. It's the second annual event and will also feature Cone Five, John Galt, and If I Had a Hi Fi. Another confirmed show at The Albert is saturday May 4th with Jaw and Ciaira's Tears. Of course, our next one isn't until April 13th, yes at the very same 'land of opportunity'. Specifics of these shows to be finalized. Oh yah, now you can also check some lyrics out. |

03/03- Although short notice saw the public's participation drop last wednesday night, The Product still managed to whip the few remaining resistants as well as the staff at Georgies into a frenzy......well sort of....as if you'll prove me wrong, you probably didn't even hear about it...on time. At this point the next Product showing won't be until April 13th as noted below. For further info/reviews of past shows, as well as notification of upcoming ones, the shows section holds the truth. Just click the date. As for right now, the troops are conditioning, working on new material, as well as preparing for the upcoming recording......more to come...... |
