In the year 2004:
01/06- Yah, so 2003 kinda sucked, other than the fact that we acquired two of our current Productlings during the year. I shall call these last few months 'a period of confusion', but now it's 2004 and we're fucking back for more (or something to that effect). New material is slllllowly being assimilated into the live set populace, as we are finding new ways of pissing people off, while equally letting others piss us off. Our set on Jan 7th should be filled with..... I dunno, something intimidating & such. We are also currently planning on going into a studio of some sort over the next month to track a couple songs for further corruption of today's youth, more to come.....
In the year 2003:
09/22- Well the lull of summer is now over, and it's time once again to take to the many dank pits of Winnipeg to do our thing. If you haven't heard much of The Product lately, well.... then you haven't missed much. But a summer with little live action has culminated with the induction of a new member, and we mean new. You can get your first crack at seeing him in action this saturday Sept 27th at the Zoo, as The Product opens the night for Mercy and Infraction. Tix are 5$, doors open @ 9pm, and the show should start by 10:30 with The Product deflowering the evening. We also now have one inch Product buttons for sale. Hey, it's what you do with it...
06/09- While things have been relatively quiet in the live performance department, The Product has been busy preparing new songs for our potential next release, and first full-length set to be out by this winter.
04/17- The Product will be spending this Easter Sunday at the Zoo, it's all ages, so the whole family can come straight from church! Show starts at 3pm, Product to be playing around 6-ish.
03/10- Yes the rumours are true, The Product does now have a bassist. You can check out the bio for 0302-I-8647-M-013 TFSI: Ian McClure who will be in action with the band on March 14th.
02/10- Taking part in the 4th installment of Winnipeg's Evolution of the Scene, The Product will be giving away a free 2-song demo. Featured, will be two tracks taken from our EP, The Customer Is Always Necessary.
01/08- The Product's first show of 2003 will be at the Zoo this Friday, Jan 10th, with Infraction. Just figured out that it will be The Product's 30th show! Yes, we will be without bass, but we'll try our hardest, and that's all that Jesus asks of us.
In the year 2002:
12/14- While in constant flux since it's conception, The Product still manages to somehow come across new experiences, finally playing their first bassless gig. It's nothing but green pastures from here boys and girls. Oh, and merry fucking christmas! : )
11/01- Well another Spooky Fest has passed, which means the cold winter is on it's way, and it's time to begin hibernation in Winnipeg's various dank clubs & bars to entertain/be entertained. As of current plan, The Product will be working rather than performing until December. Between now and then we do expect to be venturing into the 'merch' aspect of it all, you'll finally be able to buy Product T-shirts to go with your copy of our CD that you're eventually getting! More info to come.
10/10- Well it's that time of year again, and while The Product is in a transition mode and are working with green troops, it's hard to pass up the only show where The Product fits in - Spooky Fest '02. With us, will be Cone Five, Unravelled Brown Cassette Tape Lying on a Freeway, and Rose Maylies, thusday Oct 24th (it's sorta like Halloween) at The Albert. The show is in correlation with Conifera Records, and will include a special guest on Bass for The Product.
10/08- Newcomer 0209-M-6364-K-012 TFSI: Morgan Kemp, has properly assimilated into The Product community. His primary function : Drums. Check bio
