Auto Schedule v2.1.0 released! This version fixes an issue with single league schedule creation and incorrectly assigned double headers. Thanks to Walter for finding this bug. This update can be downloaded here.

Run SBS v2.0.0 released! Run SBS 2 is now out of beta and now available for download. There have been a few fixes/additions since the beta release. There is now an Options Wizard as well as a loading screen if you use the .dat stats view and more! Also included is a help file that can be loaded from Run SBS. Note that the runsbs.ini file will need to be erased if you are using v1.3 (beta users should not see any problems).

SBS Player Editor v1.0.0 released! This is a new utility that can load a .dat file in for editing of players. This utility can also double as a team editor. The included readme file contains all the program information. There will be no section for this editor, but it can be downloaded here.
Also, Run SBS 2 is nearing completion, still testing/fixing a few things before the next release.

SBS Playoffs v1.4.0 released! This version adds support for SBS v4.0. None of the new options are available, v4 can only be run with the set of options that are available in 3.6.

RunBar v1.1.0 is now available! This version has numerous fixes over the previous version, including support for SBS Playoffs and also RunBar now runs from the tray. See the Runbar section, or visit the Version History for full details.

Run SBS v2.0.0 beta released! This is a complete rewrite of the original Run SBS program. This version has many new features and adds support for SBS version 4.0. For information on how to use Run SBS 2 see the included readme file. Run SBS 2 runs very similar to the current stable release, outside of a menu system and new ways to access the Team/Schedule Options.
Requirements for this file are the same as Run SBS 1.3.0, except SBS4 is supported and a screen res of 800x600 or higher is recommended. This file also requires download of the runtime package as well (if you don't have it already). * Remember this is beta software and may contain bugs! *
Follow the e-mail instructions in the readmers.txt file included in the download to report any bugs, suggestions, or comments. You may download the new file in the Download section.

Due to some problems with SBS Auto Schedule v1.4.0, it has been pulled from the site for now. The problems are with the data type check boxes and the action buttons. Until v1.4.0's bugs are fixed, v1.3.0 has been put back online.

Team Editor v2.0.0 released! This is a complete redesign of the original Team Editor, and even though the name is the same, Team Editor is now 2 different programs -- v1.4.0 and v2.0.0. The new 2.0.0, does not require that v1.4.0 be installed, though it does still require the runtime download as it is not included.
Many new features have been included in TE. See the Version History for the rundown. Check out the notes in the Team Editor v2.0.0 section, or go right to the Download. Remember to read the help file included for all the installation and program setup instructions!

Team Editor v1.4.0 released! This version makes use of the newest dosteam file. dosteam 8 (included) has support for 100+ SB's now. Team Editor has been upgraded to include support for this dosteam release. dosteam 7 and earlier versions will NOT work with Team Editor any longer.

Also, the version number has been backed off from 2.0.0 to 1.4.0. This is because of the new version of Team Editor currently in beta testing. There will be 2 separate Team Editor programs, 1.4.0 and the upcoming 2.0.0. Version 2.0.0 has many new features and will hopefully be ready by September or October.

SBS Playoff Mode v1.2.0 is now available! Fixes in this version include the cleanup of some label naming problems, as well as a help file. The new help file is called sbsp.hlp and includes a sbsp.cnt file. These files add a Windows style help system to SBS Playoffs. The help file may be viewed in SBS Playoffs by selecting Help->Contents, or by pressing F1. This update can be downloaded through the SBS Playoffs about box, or by visiting the Download section.

SBS Playoff Mode v1.1.0 released! This version fixes some issues with the initial release. Included updates are home/away button fixes for 2nd round, new format for tracking w-l (should fix the non-updating wins problem), new sbp file format(added 14 lines), and some cosmetic changes. If you have downloaded this before June 6, please re-download this version. The build date in the about box needs to be June 5, 2001 for the most updated version that fixes the loading of playoff series. Visit the SBS Playoff Mode section, or download the program.

Also, the Message Board is back! Completely restructured, it's now up and ready to go. There are forums for each program here, as well as ones for both this site and the teams site. Feel free to post any comments, suggestions, bug reports, or whatever in the forums. You do not need to register to post, just go in to the forum of choice and select the new topic button. Just leave the password box blank. The link is in with the Quick Links at the top.

The Team Editor is back online now with version 2.0.0-2! This version includes a new dosteam file(dosteam7.pl) from Jeff Carrie that will replace all other dosteam versions. The Team Editor/dosteam7 requires version 4 of the Baseball Archive Database. Unfortunately, this database is no longer free. Full details can be found at The Baseball Archive.

Team Editor v2.0.0-1 has been realeased! This version removes the debug message boxes as well as allowing the command line output to be seen. Also, and this will now be a standard feature in all the Run SBS family, is the option for checking for new versions of the program through the about box. Just click on the area labeled 'Check for new version of Team Editor' and the version will be checked online. If a new version is available, you have the option to download the new zip package.

Team Editor v2.0.0 beta has been released! This version adds support for the newest version of the free baseball database with dosteam5.pl (please note that the outfield.csv file from the old database is still needed), as well as staying compatible with the dosteam4.pl and the older version of the database. Version 5 of dosteam also adds capability for more league options. Also, with the release of Team Editor 2.0.0, SBS Names stand-alone will be developed no further. All features of this program have been included in the new release of Team Editor. SBS Names will still be available for download though. Another new feature in the Team Editor is support for ZIP files. Now you may create .dat files, use the names function, and then package them in a .zip file for sending to the teams site. Right now only file compression is supported, you still need a zip program to uncompress files. This release is a feature preview and will allow for complete debugging and the ability to get all the features we can get packed into the final release. So, if there are any problems, questions, comments, or feature suggestions, please send a message to storm5@hotmail.com using Team Editor v2.0.0 in the subject line.

Runbar v1.0.1 has been released! This version allows loading of the Schedule Editor.

Stat Conversion v1.2.0 has been released! This version fixes a problem with smaller screen sizes, by moving the color editor to a new form as well as shrinking the main form.

Run SBS v1.3.0 has been released! New in version 1.3.0 is a setting to view the Options form in a smaller window. This makes it easier to view the Options form for screen sizes less than 1024x768. This option will be set up on first click of the Options button, and is available through a setting in the Options form.

Runbar v1.0.0 has been released! This new utility puts a toolbar across the top of the screen and allows launching of all the Run SBS family of utilities from there.

Also, the Team Manager utility is undergoing some updates as well. The main update is the change of the program name to Team Editor and the merge of the SBS Names program into this utility. No release date is available as of yet.

Schedule Editor v1.1.0 has been released! The new features/fixes include:
- Fixed the Modify option. Now users may click on modify to load the record for editing and then select it again to set the edited data.
- Added a new feature that allows users to change all appearances of the name of a .dat file in the .sch file. You may replace it with a file name in the current directory or any (up to 8 char) file name you choose.
- Also added a new feature to allow .sch to .ser conversion. Only double headers are supported at this time, no other options are available.

Auto Schedule v1.3.0 has been released. This version adds support for another Retrosheet data type -- a .csv style format -- in the Retrosheet Schedule Data read function. This update is only necessary if you are using this type of data. Included is the new .exe file, the data directory, and a new .ini file with more teams defined.

Run SBS v1.1.0 has been released! Team & Player archival features added to the team editor.
SBS Team Manager v1.1.0 has been released. Added a team & player archival feature. You may now archive stats for teams(the entire .dat file), or any single player. The team archive copies the .dat file into the archive.dat file. The player side of this takes the players you choose and copies them into the player.dat file. Has the ini file format with the player names as headings with a title line and then the stat line(s).
Stat Converter v1.1.2 has been released. Fixed the modified bug. It now does not think the .PRN is modified every time you open one. Also, finished the tweaking of the table html code.

Auto Schedule v1.2.1 has been released. This version corrects the Retrosheet Schedule Data .SCH building. autos was using 4 digit years to create schedules pushing each line off up to 30 places, crashing SBS. Now autos correctly uses 2 digit years for the .sch files.
Also, fixed the Retrosheet Schedule Data League selection. You can now also do a single league schedule with that data.
Schedule Editor v1.0.2 has been released. This version fixes List View visibility on the SCH editor form.

Run SBS 1.0.1 has been released. This version fixes a directory problem when loading schEdit.exe. Run SBS was letting the current directory get changed and not resetting it. This resulted in copies of sbsEdit.ini to be left all over.

A somewhat major update. First off, a new file has been released! tsbs - a front-end for Jeffrie Carrie's perl team builder utility dosteam4.pl! Information and the download are below.
Also, 2 updated files. schEdit 1.0.1 and stats 1.0.1 have been released. Fixed the home directory updates. It now will give the correct home directory when the file is moved.

Welcome to the Run SBS home page! This site will contain the main Run SBS program, along with all it's "children" programs. These children programs are and will be more utiliy applications. Some are already done and are available for download at the bottom of this page, while others will be along shortly. This will be described in more detail later. Feel free to comment on any of these programs, along with feature suggestions and such.
