(Alex began clowning around even more on this tour--he even started 'singing'. In the case of "2112", he started replying into the mike: after Geddy would sing, "We are the priests of the Temples of Syrinx," Alex would answer, "It's a tough job ya know!... What do our computers do... Where is Syrinx anyway?" The band also threw in parts from Cheech and Chong's rock band beats in the film Up In Smoke to close "The Big Money". Occasionally the "Pipeline" jazzy bass ending would be thrown in at the end of the later shows.)

(Notes: Geddy had 3 dryers on stage during the entire concert. Significance????? Right before the intermission had started, a movie trailer started with a mystical land. Suddenly 4 dragons appeared. The camera closed in on one who looked like he was ready to attack until he suddenly pulled out a cigar and lit it by blowing flames on it. At the same time flames shot up on stage and then One Little Victory began. Flames shot up once the song had ended as well. This years version of The Rhythm Method included parts from Burning For Buddy. Resist was played as an acoustic version with both Geddy and Alex playing acoustic guitars. During the climax of La Villa Strangiato, Geddy and Neil started playing some jazz improvisation. Alex went up to the mike and said, "O.k. I'm the singer for the band now", and then he started singing skat. During Cygnus X-1, a movie trailer was playing in the background with a dryer being sucked into a black hole, but this still did not reveal the significance of the dryers. )

Film outro: (w/ Jerry Stiller)

(Notes: Once again, Geddy had dryers on the stage but this time he had only 2. He also had a snack vending machine that was filled with various little trinkets and action figures, like the ones that he mounts on the dryers and his keyboard. The opening film intro featured a Rush dream land filled with various pictures from their album covers (dragons, dalmations, rabbits, janitors, etc). Suddenly Jerry Stiller (with a Rush t-shirt) wakes up from the dream and yells for the band to get on stage, which starts off the concert. "One Little Victory" again had a dragon film intro with flame jets. The second half o f the show opened up with a movie called "Darn That Dragon." The film used marianettes like from "The Thunderbirds" 60s tv show. The boggle head dolls of Rush had to stop the dragon from destroying Toronto, so they hopped into their Cygnus X-1 spaceship and blew the dragon to smithereens. During "2112", the stage hands dressed up as pirates and Geddy had a parrot on his shoulder. At one point he even changed the lyrics "we are the priests of the temples of syrinx" to "we are the pirates of the temples of syrinx". They had their usual jam during La Villa Strangiato and they had more role playing during By-Tor & The Snow Dog. Working Man was played in a raggae feel towards the end of the song. Jerry Stiller was also in the film outro: "Why are you all still here? GO HOME!"). At the Montreal show, Rick and Bubbles from the “Trailer Park Boys” came out on Alex’s side of the stage, and walked across to the dryers, stood there and just did a bit of headbanging, then Rick lit a smoke and the two of them waddled off.

(Notes: Geddy finally retired his dryers and vending machine for chicken rotisserie ovens. WEIRD!!!!! The opening film intro featured a Snakes & Arrows dream land filled. Suddenly Alex woke up from his nightmare and it is later revealed that Neil was sleeping in the bed with him; he had the nightmare as well. Then Geddy is shown talking with a very Scottish version of himself. Hysterical opening video. At one point during the show, someone dressed as a chef came and applied glaze to the chickens in the rotisserie ovens. At another point, another guy came with a blow torch. "The Larger Bowl" featured a video intro by the McKenzie Brothers and "Tom Sawyer" featured an video intro by the characters from South Park. The video outro for the concert featured the Scottish Geddy telling everyone to go home while he played Rush songs on the bagpipes.
