SPICE RELATED PROGRAMS

These programs were written in GWBASIC, an old program that was distributed with some versions on DOS.  They should run in most versions of BASIC.  You can download the programs and documentation by clicking on the name below and then on FILE and SAVE AS.  Save them in a folder on your hard drive.

File Name Description
SPICE.DOC Hints on avoiding convergence problems and "time step too small" messages.
SMPLOP.TXT Writes a simple model of an op amp with single R-C rolloff.
SMALLOP.TXT  Models op amp input/output resistance, input bias voltage and current, internal/external compensation, and phase margin
LINOP.TXT Models internal/external compensation, input bias voltage and current, phase margin, input/output resistance, and slew rate.
BIGOP.TXT Models an op amp with all limitations such as input common mode range, gain or bandwidth versus temperature, and output current limit.
COMLIN.TXT Models current mode op amps made by Comlinear Corp.
IFOA.TXT Models a current mode op amp with input bias voltage and current, noise, output resistance and current limit.
COMPS.TXT Makes a simple model of a comparator with collector or emitter output, models input bias voltage and current, slew rate, delay time, and saturation voltage.
NOISE.TXT Models white or pink noise current and voltage sources.
PINK.TXT Models noise that falls off at less than 20 dB/decade.
SPI.TXT Generates the control commands for SPICE output.
