MASTER SYSTEM

The SEGA Master System was one of the most advanced of its time. It easily beat the NES as far as graphics and sound are concerned. It even looked cooler! It had two cart formats, the standard cart, and the card cart similar to NEC HUcards. These cards were about the size of credit cards. My favorite sega card was TransBot. Phantasy Star was my favorite R.P.G .            It had a Light Phasor (light gun), 3-D glasses, and a nice big joystick. SEGA know how to make a system LOOK as good as it plays. The SMS had a high tech style that Nintendo didn't . The controllers were pads similar to the NES but with a real thumbpad instead of a cross shaped thingee. This lead to exellent control and better gameplay. The original controller had a little hole where you could screw in a tiny joystick. I tended to leave it in the box.  I still have my SMS and play with is quite a bit. This was a great system!!
