| On September 29th 1990 Hermandad de Sigma Iota Alpha Inc. was founded by thirteen Lovely Latin Ladies at four different schools in New York State. Since that time, la Hermandad has grow to over thirty chapters in ten states across the United States. | |||||||||||||||
| Colony History | |||||||||||||||
| In the Spring of 2004 three strong young ladies came together to bring la Hermandad to Rutgers University New Brunswick. Celeste Garcia (Hermana LadyBug), Julia Acevedo (Hermana Real) and Julia Gomez (Hermana Guaroco) are the founders of the Rutgers Colony and have been working tirelessly to bring Solidaridad, Inspiracion and Amistad to the Rutgers community and the New Brunswick community at large. | |||||||||||||||
