This bit of translation is a bit if conjecture.  The hieroglyphs written all over the Med-Jai - Ardeth Bay and Hook - mean not a lot.  After looking at them for a while however I wondered if the person who had written the hieroglyphs for the film had set us a puzzle putting letters from the imortant words to do with the film tattooed on the Med-jai.  Not really .... but I had some fun with this.

1 - 3 cover the tattoo on Ardeth Bay's forhead. 4 is the tattoo on both of his cheeks. 5 is that found on Hook.
