A Way to Help the Homeless Visually Handicapped.

My family and I are volunteers and supporters of the Federation of Visually Handicapped people of Sri Lanka and would like to help build a facility center for the Federation. This facility will help the Federation of Visually Handicapped people in Sri Lanka to accommodate many homeless visually handicapped people and coordinate many other humanitarian needs. Our funds are very limited and we would like to ask for help from anyone willing to help us help the visually handicapped people in Sri Lanka at this time. We have allocated some land for this building and are still working on raising funds needed to construct the building. Our friend Jojo Purcil who works with visually handicapped people in the Philippines and who has been visually handicapped for many years has partnered with us to raise any funds that will be used to support this purpose.

The need for a facility center for the visually handicapped has risen due to the number of homeless women and children that are unable to support themselves, and are abandoned or have no family support. Such people have no employment opportunities and are on the streets completely helpless asking for money or in some cases find such means as making grocery bags out of old newspapers to sell to nearby grocery stores which in turn brings in only a very little money.
