 Canada day celebrations

I was just wondering while it pours rain outside if anyone knows of events that may be happening on July 1st in Otterburn Park? I hear that occasionally a small number of people from the hood gather at the legion and exchange stories, etc. I used to live within spitting distance of the legion and may plan to stop by from Ottawa if it looks like I may see a few old faces.

Thanks for any info you may have.

You can always call the legion. From what I remember they always had good Canada day celebrations there. Saint Johnny's day at Spiller park and Canada day at the legion. Both marked by copious amounts of beer consumption if memory serves.

Denis is right - the Otterburn Park Legion has it's annual Canada Day celebration.

My husband and I attended the celebration a few years ago when we happened to be in town. We had a great time! Got to visit with a few people we hadn't seen in years!! We are hoping to do it again this year since we will be in from Phoenix, AZ again this July 1st! So...anybody who remembers John Monaghan (Class:1980 Former Otterburn Resident) and Kim Harrison (Class: 1979 Former St. Bruno Resident)...we'll be there and would love to see some familar faces!!
