Glen:

I never met Pamela Stewart during my senior
year at Richelieu Valley High (which went
from September, 1971 - June, 1972). This
was because she wasn't in any of my classes.
However, I did briefly know someone else
with that same surname during my short tenure
at Richelieu Valley High: Campbell Stewart.

I don't know whether Campbell and Pamela
were in fact related. However, given the
demographics of the South Shore with its
anglophone minority, they must have at least
known about one another.

Surfing through the class of 1972 listing
for Richelieu Valley High on the classmates
Internet site (www.classmates.com), one can
see a listing for Campbell Stewart. Thus,
it is suggested that you send an e-mail
message to Campbell Stewart through the
classmates facility.

In conclusion, I hope that this will assist
you in search for Pamela!

Thanks in advance,

(If Campbell Stewart should ever read this
message, then I would like to say a big
"hello". After all of these years, I am
still in touch with David Zeggil. I can well
remember the loftspace that you had in the
attic of your parents' garage at your house
in Saint Bruno. Michael Brown, yourself and
David Zeggil used to go there to practice
playing your guitars. I can still remember
the sounds of you guys singing your rendition
of Led Zeppelin's signature song: "Stairway
to Heaven". Afterwards of course, this was
followed by the celebratory drinking of beer
straight out of bottle with the clinking of
quart beerbottles! Ha! Ha! Ha! Your garage
loft was the perfect adolescent private space
for inviting over friends and hanging out.
At that time I only wish that I had had such
a private space to call my own!)

Hello John

Thanks for the response. I do not believe that Pam was related to Campbell
although his name does ring a bell. Actually stumbled on to this web site by accident. Bit of a trip down memory lane, really have to find the old yearbooks tucked away along time ago.
Hopefully more of the earlier grads will find this site and your freind
Campbell logs on.
Best of the Season to you.

Glen:

I hate to sound like a busybody, but here is
a second strategy for tracking down Pamela
Stewart. Look through the class roster for
the Richelieu Valley High class of 1971.
Under the letter M you will see a listing
for Beverly McMullan. In her message she
indicates that she was corresponding with
a Lorraine Campbell. Apparently, they have
lost touch. Theory: perhaps Lorraine and
Pamela were related or knew one another.
Although Beverly is no longer in contact
with Lorraine, perhaps the last contact
information on Lorraine would give you some
clues as to the whereabouts of Pamela. I
fully realize that this is tenuous
connection, but you never know. Here is yet
a third strategy: do you remember what was
the name or address for Pamela Stewart's
father back in 1972? If you can find this information out, then it might be possible to
track her down using her parents. Hope this
helps.

Thanks in advance,

Glen:

Oops, I have just made a mistake. About five
minutes ago my proposed secondary strategy
was for you to contact Beverly McMullan for
information on Lorraine Campbell as a means
of finding Pamela Stewart. This is wrong!
In the back of my mind I was thinking that
Pamela Stewart and Lorraine Campbell had the
same surname which is clearly not the case.
The reason for making this error was because
in the back of my mind I was still thinking
of Campbell Stewart. In psychology, this is
called a "chain of associative reasoning".
In mathematics, this is called "transitive
closure". In either case, this error arose
because I am tired. I was up late last night
taking photographs of Norwegian and then
later Swedish Christmas parties. As a result
I am not thinking clearly. Thus, the
secondary strategy is revoked. This is so
embarrassing!

Thanks in advance,

Glen,

You don't know me ( my name back then was Karen Cree) but I grew up with Pamela Stewart, her sister Debbie lives across the street from me and I have her and another sister's e-mail address, so I will forward your message on to them and hopefully you'll get your answer. I don't know where Pamela is. Her mother also still lives in Otterburn, it the same house, so if all else fails, I will get her the message.

Karen Cree
