 Injunction

This is a message that was sent to to RVR@MYNITCH.COM as a response to this weeks actions.

I am a very concerned parent, I have attended recent meetings both at the school board and at RVR. While I agree that we need to do something, I also believe that the efforts must not be of a single individual or small group.

If there is going to be an action taken it must be in the best interest of todays students and the students of the future. Any effort taken for short term gains will be at the expense of the students rather than their benefit.

As parents we must collectively address the issue. And the issue is the preservation of English language High Schooling in the community for years to come. Anything less is unacceptable.

I take exception to any self appointed individual that acts on my behalf with out my consent, with out my opinion and with out regard to my concerns for the future of my children.

This injunction is very short sited in its attempt to keep a school open. The consequences far out way damage that it will cause.

You do not have the support of the Parents, the Governing Board or the School Board to take this type of action. I suggest that you organize yourselves accordingly and solicit a clear mandate from a MAJORITY of the Parents. As Parents we should be setting an example for our children by showing restraint, organization, maturity and solidarity.

I for one do not support the actions of this group and I invite anyone else to voice their opinion.

For those who want information on Bob's remarks go to www.mynitch.com/rvr.

I don't know who this person is or group - nor does it tell me on their site. They do not even explain what their intentions are --all that is written is the injunction is coming soon and about the supposedly mould in the Longueuil school. What they are really trying to do is unknown - maybe make a name for himself or themselves. They are not even known to me nor many others who have children in RVR. I was told about this site from a friend. I sent an email to them asking who they were and they haven't even bothered to reply to me.

WHERE WERE THEY LAST YEAR????

I agree with Bob, they are acting on my behalf without my consent and as far as I am concerned they are causing more trouble for our children and their education.

I would just like to add to my above comment after reading what else they wrote - Richelieu Valley Regional High School is in McMasterville NOT Beloeil.

Ok, here we go. I just got off the phone with the Julius Grey's office (I worked with him when I worked at Alliance Quebec) and indeed he has been retained by a certain Michael Bychak (the last name could be spelt wrong) to go ahead with the injunction. Since Mr. Grey was in court today, I did not ask for any further information. Not to overload Mr. Grey's workload even further, I guess we can always try to call him and ask him what's up at 514-288-6180. Ssssh, you never heard it from me ...
