This all will eventually be a field for kids to play on and for me to train my dogs. Oh yeah the goats like to eat the grass too. :) |

This would be part of the homesite. I had it cleared and leveled for a doublewide mobile home. Don't ever deal with mobile home salesmen. They are all crooks. So I decided that I would just wait and build the dream house. |

I guess you would call this the front yard for the house I'm gonna build. |

NEWS FLASH!!!! Well I finally got some fruit trees planted. I planted 2 cherry trees, 2 apple trees and 2 Carpathian English Walnut trees. On the picture above and to the left the trees are planted in the middle of the picture. :)2/20/05 UPDATE I finally fence the orchard in so the goats won't eat my trees and asparagus that I am going to plant in there. :) |

Here we have 2 different views of the pond I have dug. I like to describe it as the physical manifestation of my hardheadedness. LOL It has been dug by hand with shovel and pry bar through mostly rock. Larger than a garden pond, but not big enough to be called a farm pond. |

The orignial idea behind the pond was to be the finishing pond for a natural water treatment system for my dog kennel. I read about some places out in the southwest that treat their water this way with plants and bacteria. I haven't completely given up on the idea, but I am worried what the county will think, and how do I keep the filtration plants alive during the cold missouri winters. :) |
