KANTINA APOKILIPTIKA "All we are saying... is give booze a chance" The Kantina will be the domain of Kantina Komandant Helitack. For suggestions on the make up, operation of, or beverages of the kantina, contact Helitack. Like any collaborative venture, we will need some contributions of material (booze et al) to the kantina effort. PBR Beer is the main item, and any contributions from the city at large will be most welcomed. A vodka filtering device is being made in the look of an ICBM, and will be in service Control: The Kantina will operate under full compliance with state and federal laws, and every effort will be made to prevent underage drinking from the premises. Our intent to comply will be made very clear to all who enter. Yes, naked people have no pockets, so they wil have to figure out how to carry an ID if they don't look their age. Sorry, no suggestions here. Seriously though we will card if you look to us under 21. Take it as a complement. The main Kantina structure has been built, and the materials needed for sides and coverings are obtained. Thanks to The Major, we are looking at back lit projection possibilities. Komissar Iconoclast has furnished Fab LED lighting units that will be quite amazing. A brass stripper pole has been obtained by Helitack. Expect performance. | Further Ramblings of Interest: Looking at the illustration seen above, one enters through two "Krell Doors" on either side (see Forbidden Planet). To the far back, is the door to the large Chill Dome, being furnished by Dirty B. To the right, is the opening in which the bar will be fixed. To the left, is an opening to a side shade area and pass through to "The Compound". The interiors of the 5 walls may well be painted, muraled or decorated as seen fit by willing Komrades-- or perhaps not. Odd objects may be seen hanging about, along with the Kernul's Art Masks. The stripper pole will be mounted in the center of the Kantina, and fixed via trusses for strength. |
