| Set Up Planned to begin on Saturday the 27th. Theme Camps are expected to be set up and running by Monday. No Blems. Most campmates are planning to arrive on Saturday, with a smaller number on Sunday. Only vehicles need as lodgings and anchors will be at the camp, along with registered MVs. All other vehicles will be relocated when ready, to the perimeter of the city as usual. Light Impact Camp and Cleaning as we go LNT LNT LNT. Leave No Trace ethics. APOKILIPTIKA is using a planned light impact camp with maximum visual impact. --No holes will be dug- only pegs, rebar anchors. --No burn scar potentials --All water- showers and grey water will be placed in evap pond areas --Generators will use sound dampening boxes --Fuel containers will use pans to prevent fuel spill on playa surface. --Drip pans and cardboard will be employed under vehicle engines --All trash will be be packed out... period We will ensure that the camp is highly secured from wind so none of our crap blows away. We have experience (2003-2004). Anchored trash recepticles will adorn the abode. We WILL be a clean camp in the physical sense.... uh, well you know. Clean Up The camp is expected to begin to strike on Sunday for pack up, and will shave down to a bivouac for Sunday night. Before Monday exodus, all will do a thorough camp police, and ensure a ship shape playa, and the remaining core group will double check the site prior to fial departure. Additionally, everyone will help out, not only with the camp, but with the city itself Sunday and Monday... and to devote at least one hour to clean up in the city.
