The top is a side view of my modest apartement theater. I have actually just rearranged my entire lving to give the speakers more room and to specifically sit farther away from the tv. The bottom pic is a view very close to the sweet spot. My surround sound speakers are 6 feet from me on either side about 3 feet above and 1 foot behind..
