Dallas is a bi-factored blue merle Color Headed White sheltie (CHW). He is a naturally occuring color. He is not genetically defective. He is the product of white factored parents. He has most of his color on his head with a primarily white body with a few body spots. He has a very sweet disposition. He loves to give kisses. He loves to please and is my very special boy.
Dallas can not get his AKC championship, because the ASSA set sheltie standard says that dogs with over 50% white are to be placed as to put them out of the competition. UKC allows the whites to be shown and Dallas finished his Championship in Lexington, Kentucky on July 28. We are waiting for more shows here in Florida.
Dallas is in training for conformation, tracking, agility, obedience, flyball and hopefully herding if I can find someone close to me to teach me. |
