| One of the ways people made do without butter during World War II. 1 pound margarine, softened 1 cup corn oil 1 cup buttermilk Whip ingredients together in a food processor or with an electric mixer. Stored in a tightly covered container in the refrigerator, this spread will keep well for 1 month. Ooh-la-la Butter 1/2 cup butter or Country Butter 1/2 cup honey 1/4 cup sugar 1/4 cup brown sugar, lightly pressed 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 tablespoon heavy cream Combine ingredients in a food processor or with an electric mixer and whip until the butter is light and fluffly.
