Stephen on Bebop Tango (5.11a), on a chilly winter day at Joshua Tree.  This climb is unusual for J-tree--an overhanging, juggy sport route!
Static Stops You, a boulder problem at the base of Sentinel Rock at Rock City, Mount Diablo.  Note my hi-tech climbing shoes (watersocks)--other makeshift gear included a harness made out of luggage straps, homemade nuts and a lock for a belay device (Sticht plate style)!
On the summit of the Grand Teton after climbing the Direct Exum, summer 2002.
