objects and create a collaged light switch cover using a deliberate pattern.

Materials

students
-20 light switch covers
-Large box of beads in assorted
colors and sizes
-20 bottles of glue
-20 sheets of 81/2”x11” white paper
-20 pencils

Preparation (What will you do to get ready?):
-Get beads and light switch covers
-Create a finished example
Motivation/Demonstration:
-Art Prints
-Demonstrate how to create collaged
objects with a pattern
Project/Classroom
Procedure:
-Students will create sketches of patterns to be
created on the light switch covers. When sketches are approved, students will
glue the beads into the approved pattern onto the light switch cover.

-Make sure students use materials in
a safe and responsible manner.

for Students with Special Needs:
-Assign an art buddy to help with
difficult tasks.
