Discipline Plan/Art Room Rules

Elementary Art Room

1. Show Respect 2. Practice Teamwork 3. Be Safe 4. Show Courage If a class is misbehaving or being disrespectful, I write the word ART on the board.  As the disrespect continues, I erase one letter at a time.  If the word ART gets completely erased, heads go down and art stops for five minutes or until they can show respect.

High School Art Room

1.  Students are responsible for the care and cleaning of their assigned work area and of any supplies used in the classroom.  All supplies and materials used must be returned to their proper place at the end of each class. 2.  Foul language, disrespectful talk and harassment of others will not be tolerated.  Treat others as YOU would like to be treated. 3.  Restroom passes will be given at the discretion of the teacher.  Students leaving the classroom for any reason MUST follow sign out procedures. 4.  Materials are not to be removed from the classroom without permission.  This includes drawing pencils, clay, markers and etc. 5.  Students are to complete ALL assignments.  Remember, the best way to fail is not to try!
