This Web site was created by three sophomores from Clearfield High School in Utah, for your
benefit as you read Les Miserables. Les Miserables was written by the French author Victor Hugo.
Not too much is known about this great author, but we have attempted to gather as much
information on him as we can, for your benefit, of course. We will also
include some confusing words out of the book and define them. For our benefit, as much as yours,
of course. We have also identified multiple important characters. We have completed some general
background information on the book, as we have summarized the book. One more little amenity we have included is the nice 10 Questions For
