Amazon.com: Did you want to become in
former times authoress?
Yes, I wanted to become authoress, as far as I can remember. My favourite
subject was English, white the sky why I a French conclusion always aimed at...
Amazon.com: Were you how
old, as them with write began and how were called your first book?
I have my first history written as I
approximate 6 was. It concerned a hare named hare. Very imaginatively. Since
then I wrote.
Amazon.com: Why did you
want to become authoress?
If someone would ask me for the
prescription for luck, step would be 1 to find out what one does dearest, and
step 2 someone to find the one for it pays. I estimate myself lucky to be able
to live actually on the letter.
Amazon.com: Do you have
any plans to write adult books?
My first two stories - which I tried
to never publish - were adult books. I could introduce myself to write a further
but I never imagine during the writing an exact target audience. The idea comes
first, therefore everything of the idea really depends, which I have.
Amazon.com: Which books
read you to gladly?
My favourite authoress is Jane Auston
and I has her books so often read that I that to count gave up. My dearest still
living author is Roddy Doyle, I regards it as a genius. I think the two make
simply all -- fully formed out characters create, (...), human behaviors in an
unsurpassed kind describe -- and am naturally, very funny.
Amazon.com: Which books
read you as a child gladly? Had this any influence on your own write style?
It is to be called always heavily its
own influences. Everything which you saw, experienced, read or heard, put down
in your head, like compost, and then your own ideas from this compost grow.
Three books which I as a child read, are still clearly in my memory available.
One are "The Little White Horse" from Elizabeth Goudge that was probably in
former times also my favourite book. Second is "Manxmouse" from Paul Gallico,
who not Gallicos is most well-known book, but I find it nevertheless marvelous.
Third is "Grimble", from Clement Freud. "Grimble" is one of of the merriest
books which I ever read, and Grimble, which is a small boy, is a marvelous
character. I would see loving gladly a "Grimble" film. As far as I know, aren't
the two latter books any longer printed, if this book-lay thus the coworkers of
any sees, could you her please still times in pressure give, so that they can
still read also different people?
Amazon.com: How long do
you need, in order to write a book?
My last book - third of the Harry
series - has to become used over finished one year, which for me actually is
rather fast (...)
Amazon.com: Where did
the ideas for the Harry of Potter books come?
I do not have notion where the ideas
came and I hope it to also never find out, it for me the joy would spoil if
would turn out that I a merry small fold on the surface of my brain have, which
lets me think of invisible station tracks.
Amazon.com: Are your
characters based on genuine persons?
Some do it, but I must be very
careful, which I over it legend. Usually real people affect a book character,
but if they are only in your head transform them itself into somewhat completely
different one. Professor Snape and Gilderoy LOCK-hard originally came from
persons who I know, became then however somewhat completely different one than
her only on the paper were. Hermine is a little as I in the age of 11 years,
only a little more intelligent.
Amazon.com: Are any from
stories from their life or from people, which them?
I let none of stories from the Harry
books be based consciously on my life, but that meant that not with do not
influence your own feelings there naturally. As I that 12. Chapter of volume
one, "the mirror Nerhegeb" read, again, noticed to me that I gave Harry many of
my feelings over the death of my own nut/mother, without it was noticeable to me
during the writing.
Amazon.com: Where did
the idea of the Quidditchs come?
I invented Quidditch as I the Nachtin
a small room of the Bournville hotel in Didsbury, Manchester, spent. I wanted to
always see a Zauberersport and I wanted a kind of sport, with which more than
only one ball is simultaneous in the play. The idea amused me simply. The
Muggelsportart that it at most resembles is probably basketball, which is
probably the kind of sport, which dearest I see. I had much fun when rule
inventing and I have still the note booklet into which I everything wrote in,
completely with diagrams and I had tried all name out of the 3 balls which,
before I decided for Schnatz, Klat and Quaffel.
Amazon.com: From where
do the ideas come for the charm subjects of instruction and spells?
I had decided already very early for
the school fan. Most sayings are invented, but some of them have a basis in what
effective humans considered in former times once. We owe a quantity
of our scientific knowledge to the Alchemisten!
Amazon.com: Which
components need the Harry of Potter books of your opinion after?
I never really think about the components,
but if I unite call should were that humor, strong characters and a waterproof
action stand. These things would join themselves to a kind book, which I read
gladly. Oh, I have the Gruselfaktor forgotten - now, I never plan to shift the
people in frights but it seems to in-creep on the way.
Amazon.com: Do they
write with the hand or at the computer?
I write still gladly with the hand.
Normally I make a first draft with filler and paper, and then I make next
version at the computer for you. (...) But I learned to write on all possible
kinds from papers to. The names of the Hogwarts houses developed on a airplane
Kotztuete, it was empty.
Amazon.com: Thanks for the interview.
