Let Me Live

Once I was a tiny seed,
Mother nature cared for me
I grew up as a shady tree,
Now my age is twenty three.

I have branches so many,
For children to play in company.
I feed worms with tiny figs,
I make home with tiny twigs.

Iam for the resting herds;
Also for the poor shepherds.
People breathe the air I give;
WHy don't people let me live?

Sun-My Friend

Hi,bright sun
Do you have a gun?
If you have a gun
Please give me that one.

I need it only for a day
It is the best thing to play
How much should I play
For the gun,I pray.

The other thing is none
Except for the joy and fun
Let's eat chocolate and bun
In a gala party in my town.

Mr.Gill

Mr.Gill and his daughter Jill
Who had a frill lived on a hill
And owned a mill
One day Jill fell ill
And felt very chill
So costly was the bill of the pill
That Mr.Gill had to sell his mill
Now Mr.Gill and his daughter Jill
Still live on a hill
But without a mill.

The Lonely One

Oh! What a day it was,
To walk and singand  be merry.
The sun was out at the night
Has disappeared fron the sky.

I walked into the local park,
covered with flowers light 'n' dark.
she was sitting there on the bench.
An old woman with a hunch.

She was lonely and was tired,
Like she had worked for long.
I felt sad and I felt sorry,
For the woman I believe had many worries.

I wanted to talk to her,
But stood back out of fears.
Her eyes were strained,
I knew how she felt.

As though her energy had drained'
Working for hours and hours.
No one came to meet her,
None to conosle her.

I went forward to give her some food,
In the intention of doind good.
She accepted it with pleasure,
And ate it as fast as she could.

She never did speak a word,
As if her heart was hurt.
Can no one give her some shelter?
Oh! How cruel is this world !!!

A Child's Thought

At seven, when I go to bed,
I find such pictures in my head :
Castles with dragons prowling round,
Gardens where magic fruits are found;
Fair ladies prisoned in a tower;
Or lost in an enchanted bower;
While gallant horsemen ride by streams
That border all this land of dreams
I find, so clearly in my head
At seven, when I go to bed.
