The scene opens in a park in the middle of Denver. In the park are several pieces of equipment, which you would associate with strongman competitions. There are a few big logs, some Atlas stones and a car, which has a couple of handles of the front of it. Next to this equipment is Crunch and ZCW interviewers Little David Horner and Carl Dilworth.

Little David: Crunch thanks for asking Carl and I out here to see your strength demonstration. I’m really curious to find out just how strong you are so I’m very happy to be here and so is Carl

Carl doesn’t look to be happy to be here, he is wearing a very thick coat but still looks freezing.

Carl: Couldn’t you have done your demonstration indoors, it’s freezing out here.

Crunch: Freezing, surely you’re joking this is T-shirt wearing weather were I’m from. Anyway I thought you’d be happy to be here Carl, since I’m the first person whose actually given you anything to do in the ZCW. Everyone else has had all their interviews done by Jodie Moran or Little David. So you should be happy to get the air time.

Carl: Well I am grateful that you finally let me get my face on camera, but it still way too cold for someone from California like me.

Crunch: Well Carl I’ve got the perfect thing to warm you up, because as well as the stuff I’ll be lifting I also brought along with me a few lighter items so that you and David could have a go, to see if you were of Strongman material.

Carl: Well I’d rather not, I’ve got my cool image to live up to, and if I can’t lift up any of these weights then it would be a bit embarrassing.

Little David: You’re always such a stick in the mud Carl, no wonder you never get on air.

Carl: Okay I’ll do it then.

Crunch: Great I’m glad you agreed, okay the first test of strength will be a test of strength and endurance. We’ll each get a log pick it up and put it onto our shoulders we’ll then run to those trees over there which are about 100 metres away and run back again. Now my log will weigh in at 200 pounds, which is fairly heavy but well under what I can pick up, meanwhile you two will have 50 pound logs.

Carl: Well I’ll try

Little David: (Gulps) I think I’ve changed my mind.

Crunch: There’s no turning back now guys you’ve got to do it, and by the way Carl I would suggest taking your coat off.

Carl takes his coat off, he is now colder than ever and is quite noticeably shivering. Crunch now picks up his log fairly easily and puts it on his shoulder. Carl struggles for a bit with his log then gets it up, but Little David is having no luck. He can’t move his log at all.

Crunch: My god what a wimp, but then you are only 5 feet 1 so I suppose you have an excuse, anyway Carl let’s get going.

Crunch starts running towards the trees at a fairly brisk pace, but Carl can only walk slowly. By the time Crunch has got to the trees Carl isn’t even half way there. Crunch then passes Carl on the way back, as he does so Carl drops his log and collapses to the ground. Crunch then gets back to his starting point and declares himself the winner.

Crunch: I believe the term must try harder springs to mind.

Little David: Come on those things were heavy.

Crunch: Yeah but my log was four times heavier than your and I had no troubles did I.

Little David: Well I’ll try harder next time.

Crunch: We can only hope so Dave. Anyway I’m still full of energy of let’s move on to the next exercise.

Carl now staggers back to were Crunch and David are standing, as soon as he gets there he collapses to the ground.

Crunch: So much for his cool guy image. Okay the next exercise will be the Atlas stones, behind me are five stone each progressively heavier than the next. They go from 200 pounds right up to 400 pounds. Now the object here is to put the stones on those 5 feet high platforms over there. Now this is a standard strongman test so I should have no trouble with it, but seeing how weak you two were with the logs I think I’ll let you sit this one out.

David and Carl look very relieved at this news. Crunch now starts to run over to the stones he puts the first three up onto the platform with no difficulty at all, the fourth requires a bit more effort but he is able to put it up. The last one proves to be tricky, it is a very large stone and Crunch has some difficulty getting his arms to go right around it. But after a bit of effort he puts it on the platform to complete the task. David looks very impressed by this but Carl just seems to knackered to care.

Little David: Wow that was amazing I didn’t think anyone would be able to do that.

Crunch: Oh it was nothing.

Little David: It was awesome, I bet no one else in ZCW could do that, not even Sabre.

Crunch: Well I’m sure Smash could do it.

Little David: Well I’m officially impressed.

Crunch: You ain’t seen nothing yet David, because my third and final test is the toughest yet. I’m going to power lift that Car up to waist level by those handles and hold it there for as long as possible.

Little David: That’s quite a big car, surely you aren’t going to lift it.

Crunch: Yes you’re right it is a big car, and all the inner workings are still inside of it, so it is very heavy, but none the less I am going to lift it. But just so you know how heavy it is I’m going to ask you and Carl to try and lift it together.

Carl gets up and starts to plead with Crunch not to make him do it, but Crunch insists so Carl and David go to try to pick it up but even together they can’t lift in one millimetre, after half a minute they give up exhausted.

Crunch: Not very impressive guys no wonder you two never get dates.

Carl: Hey I get plenty of dates.

Crunch: Yeah but only with Madame Palm and her Five Sisters, now if you two would stand back, I’m going to pick it up and show you what real strength is.

Crunch picks up the car fairly easily and holds it at waist height. After about five minutes he drops it to the ground.

Little David: All I’ve got to say is WOW. That was fantastic.

Carl: Incredible.

Little David: Just how on earth did you so that.

Crunch: A lifetime of training my good man. Anyway as you can see I am officially very strong, easily the strongest man in ZCW and I bet no one will even dare try to take that crown off me now.

Little David: Definitely not I can’t see how anyone could even hope to beat you in a test of strength. But even with those exercises you’ve just done there are still some people out there who doubt you’re strength like Kurgan. He says he’s never heard of you, and I think he’s implying that the you made up all the titles that you say you’ve won.

Crunch: David when it comes to strongman competitions, I bet Kurgan knows nothing about them. The most prestigious strongman title I’ve won is Iceland’s strongest man, that might not sound much, and in most sports been Iceland’s best competitor wouldn’t be very impressive. Like whoever heard of Iceland’s best 400 metre runner or Iceland’s best backstroke swimmer. I certainly don’t know who they are and I’m from Iceland. But in Strongman being Iceland’s best is impressive because Iceland is probably the best nation at Strongman competitions. Icelandics have won the world’s strongest man 3 times in the last 10 years. With all the other winners in the last ten years being fellow Scandinavians. So it is an honour, and I’d proud to have won. Now if Kurgan wants to dispute the fact that I won Iceland’s strongest man, then let him go ahead and name all the winners of the competition for the last ten years. I bet he can’t do it David because he knows either nothing about strongman or he knows that I would appear on that list and he would be exposed as an even greater liar than he is already. Anyway what credibility does Kurgan have anyway to go round saying that I’ve lied about my past. That guys says he’s an immortal, and you don’t get much more bogus than that.

Carl: Well he might be a bit off the mark claiming to be immortal, but one thing about him that is definitely true is that he is one hell of a wrestler. The way he put away Tupac last week was very impressive.

Crunch: Yes it was Carl, but you’ll find that I am a little bit tougher proposition than Mr Amaru. I won’t roll over and die like he did. I’ll be giving it my all in that ring to make sure that I come up with the win and I’m pretty sure that with my level of ability, my immense fortitude and the strength which I demonstrated today that I can win and go into the world title tournament with an unbeaten record.

Little David: Patrice is also going to out there to stop you. I think he’s the best technical wrestler in ZCW so you’ll have your work cut out against him especially with your lack of experience.

Crunch: Yes he’ll be a tough proposition, especially if he stops thinking about women for one minute and starts thinking about wrestling. But as tough a proposition as he is, I will beat him, I am so determined to win this match, that I will not let Patrice’s wrestling acumen get in the way of me winning, and if he wants to try and cheat his way to victory he’ll still end up with the short end of the stick, because I know that I won’t fall for any of his little schemes. Just face it you guys I am going to win this match and both my opponents are going to get Crunched.

The scene fades to black.
