The scene opens in a random gym, which just happens to be located in the vacinity of the Rose Garden. As the camera moves around we can see the usual mixture of gym patrons. There are several muscle guys, a couple of people who are obviously there to pick up a date rather than work out, and there are also 1 or 2 big fat guys trying in vain to get themselves into shape. Most of these people seem to quite happy that the EHWC cameras are there because it gives them possibly there only ever chance of getting on the TV. A few of the people are so happy to be on the TV that they are waving with the greatest of enthusiasm. On or two can even be seen saying HELLO MOM. There is on person though who doesn't seem too fussed that the cameras are there and predictably this person is none other than Sabre. Currently Sabre is far too busy working out to even register that the camera is there, the reason why he is busy is because he's currently bench pressing 550 pounds after several reps Sabre stops his bench pressing and takes a very short break. This short break give EHWC reporter Mark Simpson just enough time in run in from behind the camera and stick a mic right under Sabre's mouth.
Sabre: Hey Mark normally I'd love to speak to you, but can't you see that I'm busy at the moment. I'm already way behind in my training schedule thanks to my nightly phone calls to Magenta so I can't afford to lose any more time by talking to you.
Mark Simpson: Are you sure you can't spare a minute, all the people would really love to know how your preparation for your big cage match with Achilleos is going.
Sabre: Are you sure it's for the people are not for your own career advancement.
Mark Simpson: Er yes, the interview is purely for the benefit of the fans and not to give me any kudos over Ashley or Chris.
Sabre: Well if it for the fans of course I can spare the time, because the wrestling fans are what keeps this business going so it's only right to accommodate them.
Mark Simpson: Okay I'll ask away then.
Sabre: You do that.
Mark Simpson: Well first up, both you and Achilleos requested that your match be made into a number one contenders match for the international title. President Sharde and Middle have both accepted this request, so the match will go ahead as you and Achilleos wanted it. How do you react to this news.
Sabre: Well I still believe that people of Achilleos and my calibre should be going for the world title instead of the international title, but since going for that title is out of the question for the moment I guess it's a good thing that I can get my chance at the international title. I was kind of thinking that we wouldn't get the match because I thought there was no way Middle would agree to the match after all I've always thought that deep down Paul Middle was a bit of a coward. It was always my opinion that Middle turned down matches where he thought his opponents might beat him and only accepted the matches where he knew he'd win. Because he's just some pretty boy who can't accept defeat, but I guess I'll have to chance my opinion of him now, because after agreeing to a match with either Achilleos or me it's clear to see that Middle is prepared to accept challenges from viable opponents. Hell he's prepared to accept challenges from two opponents who are clearly vastly superior to him so I guess he's no coward after all. Stupid maybe because no matter whom he faces at the next PPV he will lose his belt, but at least he's shown that he's no coward and that has to be commended.
Mark Simpson: I've got to admit though no matter who faces Middle, either you or Achilleos it should be a great match.
Sabre: Yes it will be a great match, but at the end of the day no matter how good a performance Middle puts up he will lose because I just can't see anyway for him to get past either me or Achilleos.
Mark Simpson: Recently both Achilleos and Middle said that that it was guaranteed that Achilleos would beat you and thus go on to face Middle at the Pay per view, what do you have to say about this.
Sabre: Well I think anyone with even half a brain knows that these two guys are talking out of their collective arses. Because they know, all the other wrestlers know and most important of all the fans know t hat I am more than capable of kicking Achilleos' ass all over the ring, and that I am more than capable of picking up the win. And on Saturday I'll show everyone that I am more than capable of beating him when I sabreize him and pick up the victory.
Mark Simpson: Does Middle and Achilleos saying that you can't win your match this week add fuel to your fire this spurring you on to take out Achilleos with greater ferocity than you had previously planned.
Sabre: No not particularly, because I know the words are untrue and I know that Middle and Achilleos don't really mean them. Achilleos definitely doesn't mean them because he knows I could take him out this week in the blink of an eye, he is only saying that I have no chance because he's going through the usual pre match bravado that all wrestlers have to go through. Even people are awful as Assassin go through this ritual saying that their opponents will never be able to beat them even though in the case of Assassin It is so not true, not even if he was facing one of the umpa lumpas. So hearing Achilleos say the words I have heard so many times from past opponents doesn't even bother me one bit. And as for Middle I know he only said those words because he's jealou s of me, jealous that I beat him for the tag titles at Highway to Hell, jealous that I am an ultimate fighting machine whist me is only an ultimate losing machine and finally jealous because I have the greatest girlfriend in the world whilst he even gets turned down by 50 cent prostitutes. He couldn't be more jealous of me even if tried. He knows deep down that I will beat Achilleos and when I do I will totally destroy him and take his belt, but his jealousy just won't let him admit that will it, so he has to pretend that I not as good as I really am. This deception will only get him one thing though and it is a big time sabrecrusher and a title loss.
Mark Simpson: When I first came in here you were talking about your training for your match this week. How is that training going.
Sabre: Well as I told you earlier I've been distracted a bit, but the thought of getting my hands on Middle has spurred me on to work triply hard when I am in the gym, so perhaps I am close to getting to the level I need to be at, but saying that I'm sure when match time comes around I'll be more than ready and when I am I'm sure that Achilleos will be blown away. You see Mark I just refuse to lose this match, Achilleos will take me to the limit but I will just take it all on the chin and keep on fighting and fighting until I have finally sabreized Achilleos and picked up the win. And pick it up I shall because to put it plain and simple Mark that international title is going to be mine no matter what the cost is. Now if you would be so kind as to leave me I have training to return to.
Mark doesn't want to overstay his welcome so he leaves straightaway. Sabre gets back to some more bench pressing this time he is lifting 600 pounds. The scene then fades to black. |
