The scene opens backstage in the All State Arena. At the moment we can see Sabre pouring water from a big jug into a glass ready for him to drink, whilst he is doing this he is talking to a member of the OCW backstage crew. The worker has Jack on his name tag.
Sabre: Did you see the way I put away Chris O'Hann on Madness.
Jack: Yes I did Sabre it was very impressive.
Sabre: There was no escape once I put the 1000 years of pain on, all he could do was tap out.
Sabre is finished pouring out the water, he puts the jug back down and picks up the glass ready to drink from it.
Sabre: Man that 1000 years of pain must be the best submission hold in wrestling today, every time I put it on my opponent submits no matter who they are. Even top line competitors like Chris Kostoff couldn't survive the pain I generate with that move.
Jack: I don't know maybe the crippler crossface is better.
Sabre: No way I've seen loads of people get out of that hold, and I've seen people trapped in it for minutes and not given up. No-one has ever escaped the 1000 years of pain, and I doubt anyone could last more than 30 seconds in it, it is just too good.
Jack: What about the ankle lock then.
Sabre: Too easy to get to the ropes, and it only takes out one body part. My move is so much better for starters once it is applied my opponent just can't move, he is totally and utterly stuck in the position where I apply the hold so there is no way he can get to the ropes, and the move doesn't just hurt one body part it takes out the neck, the back and the thighs, and thus the person is in so much pain all over there body so they just can't keep on going.
Jack: What about the torture rack then, you can't escape from that hold and it takes out a number of body parts.
Sabre: The torture rack can only be put on certain people, for example if Hammer was still around nobody except perhaps me with my awesome strength could have put him in that hold, but with the 1000 years of pain I can put the hold on anybody, big or small, tall or short, fat or thin. Just face it Jack it is the complete submission hold, and once I've put it on somebody they will inevitably be in 1000 years of pain.
Jack: Well you've convinced me, but other OCW wrestlers will need more convincing.
Sabre: Once they've been put in the move they will be convinced. The pain they will feel will more than convince them of the potency of the move. Pretty soon that move will be as feared as the sabrecrusher is at the moment. Fellow wrestlers will be scared to get in the ring with me, because they will know that if the sabrecrusher doesn't get them, they will have to endure the most painful submission hold in wrestling. I can just imagine other wrestlers having to wear brown ring attire when they are coming to the ring to face me, because if they were to wear any other colour they could seriously embarrass themselves.
Sabre now drinks the glass of water which is in his hand as he does so Bria n Wilson approaches him and Jack. He has a microphone in hand and it looks like he wants to do an interview. He gives Jack a dismissive look, the kind of look which says you'll be fired if you don't get out of here quickly. Jack takes the hint.
Jack: Er, I've got to go and fix some lighting or something see you later.
Jack leaves and Brian moves in to do the interview.
Sabre: Couldn't you have waited Brian, I was just having a nice cha t about how great the 1000 years of pain is.
Brian Wilson: Sorry about that Sabre but interviews have to take priority over idle chatting with the staff.
Sabre: I suppose you're right, doing interviews is an important part of my job, so I guess if either you, Josh or Lisa want to do an interview I have to drop everything to accommodate you.
Brian Wilson: Would that include dropping your pants to accommodate Lisa.
Sabre: No it certainly would not include doing that you sick b*****d. That would be taking things just a little bit too far.
Brian Wilson: Perhaps, but I couldn't resist getting a quick joke in.
Sabre: You call that a joke, it's no wonder you never became a stand up comic.
Brian Wilson: Well I think I can come up with some good one liners when I have the time to think of them.
Sabre: I've got news for you Brian, I don't think you've come up with a funny line during your entire tenure in OCW so I think you should stick to the day job of interviewing wrestlers but before you start doing that job perhaps we can carry on where Jack and I left off and talk a bit more about how great the 1000 years of pain is.
Brian Wilson: I'll be the first to admit that is it a good move but I prefer the good old classic submission holds like a figure four leglock.
Sabre: A figure four leglock can hardly compare to my move, it is so easy to reverse you just have to look at the tape of my match with Chris O'Hann to see that. He managed to get the hold on but it was reversed so quickly that I didn't feel any pain. My move cannot be reversed or escaped from, you can't rake my eyes you can't give me a low blow and you can't get to the ropes so you can't get out and unlike a figure four leglock no-one can tolerate the pain. If I hadn't of reversed the figure four O'Hann put me in, he could have had it applied for hours and I still wouldn't have tapped out but put my hold on for half a minute and everyone will have given up. Brian you have no idea what makes a good move do you, next you'll be telling me about the awesome power of spinning toe holds, abdominal stretches and bear hugs won't you.
Brian Wilson: I've seen all those holds get victories at some point.
Sabre: Only if you're using them against the weakest wrestlers imaginable. You'll find that my move puts everyone away even though people who it was thought would never submit. Because it is just the best submission move ever and no one can deny it.
Brian Wilson: Well I'm sure that debate will go on for a long time.
Sabre: No it won't because after a few more applications of my hold all the doubters will be silenced.
Brian Wilson: Perhaps but for the mean time can we do the interview please.
Sabre: If you insist.
Brian Wilson: Indeed I do insist.
Sabre: Go on then.
Brian Wilson: Okay first question you reaction to the news that you will be facing Seth Copeland this week.
Sabre: Well that's good news because Seth and I should be able to put on a great match for all the fans, and there is nothing more important than that.
Brian Wilson: Indeed. Anyway what do you think your chance are.
Sabre: As always Brian my chances are great because just like everyone else in the OCW there is no way Seth Copeland can survive the 1000 years of pain he'll be tapping out like a drunk man within seconds of the hold been applied. After seeing Seth in action over the last few weeks it is clear to see that the man has some talent but all the talent in the world won't save him from the best submission hold in the world, because with my awesome technical skills at some point in the match I will apply it and therefore I will gain the victory.
Brian Wilson: Seth's a good technical wrestler too though, he could find a way out of the hold.
Sabre: I won't deny that he has some technical ability but he doesn't have as much as me so my move will be applied. Anyway I've noticed one thing about Copeland ever since he's been in OCW, when he's been up against the ordinary run of the mill wrestlers he has looked a million dollars, pounds, euros or whatever competitively exchanged rate currency you want to use. But when he's being up against the cream of OCW, he's looked like a million Turkish lira, which as everyone knows are almost worthless. Because when he has faced people like Luther Van Holt, J-Man or Achilleos he has not being able to get the job done. He has put up a good effort in all these matches but in the end his efforts have not been enough because against the higher calibre of opposition he has always come up with the short end of the stick. And this week Brian, Seth will be facing the highest calibre of opponent there is in OCW, he will be facing the ultimate fighting machine, he will be facing a wrestling genius so what chance has he got then of getting a victory this week. Quite simply Brian the answer is none. He has no chance of beating me, zero, zip, zilch, or a multitude of other words beginning with z, because when it comes to wrestling I am the very best there is, and it will take more than Copeland has to get the better of me.
Brian Wilson: But how do you intend to deal with some of Copeland's big moves the checkmate, the epic proportions and the sickness in salvation.
Sabre: Copeland will never get my weakened to a state where he can put any of those holds on, but even if he could apply those holds I could easily counter them, the epic proportions could easily be blocked just by catching Copeland's foot, then I could spin him around and hit a dragon suplex, the checkmate can easily be escaped by getting to the ropes and the other move whatever it's called could be counted with a backdrop, and with my Olympic champion weightlifter like strength I could easily do it to a midsized wrestler like Copeland. So you see Brian I will have no problem dealing with anything Copeland can throw at me, and that is just another reason why I shall pick up yet another victory in OCW. Brian at the end of the day there are just so many advantages I hold over Copeland, just way to much for him to even have a chance of overcoming me, even with the pedigree he keeps reminding us of he just doesn't have enough and thus he will not only lose but he will be sabreized.
