The scene opens backstage in the Greensboro Coliseum, Josh Landers is wandering about looking a bit lost.
Josh Landers: Where the hell is everyone I haven't done an interview for ages. All the wrestlers seemed to have vanished off the face of the earth, it's as if I had entered a parallel universe of something stupid like that. Right the next wrestler who goes past no matter who it is even Assassin or Slik is going to get interviewed, I'll pounce so quickly that they won't be able to get away and then I'll get my interview. Right I'll just hide around a corner so no one can see me then I'll swoop.
Josh hides behind the corner of junction between two corridors so that people coming up the corridor where he's not on won't be able to see him. Alas for Josh the next person to enter the scene comes along the corridor which Josh is on so they can see him perfectly and as you would expect that person coming along the corridor is Sabre. He is wearing a Sabre T-shirt, red shorts and red training shoes. Josh is concentrating so much on looking down the other corridor that he doesn't see Sabre.
Sabre: (shouting) Josh what the hell are you doing.
Josh is so startled that he jumps about ten feet into the air.
Sabre: Calm down there you might have a heart attack.
Josh has now recovered his senses.
Josh Landers: Well I' ll definitely have a heart attack if people sneak up behind me and shout right into my ear.
Sabre: I hardly sneaked up on you I was just walking down this corridor quite normally when I saw that you were acting rather strangely so I thought I'd see what you were doing and as for shouting right in you ear you must have pretty big ears because I was at least 10 yards away from you when I shouted. Anyway the question still remains what the hell where you doing.
Josh Landers: Well I was waiting for a wrestler to walk along so that I could leap around the corner, surprise him and start an interview before he realised what was going on, but now you're here I won't need to do that because I can interview you.
Sabre: Okay go on then Josh, I've got nothing better to do at the moment.
Josh Landers: Right then first question, recently Luther Van Holt accepted a challenge you made last week to fight him for the hardcore title at No Remorse. How do you react to that news?
Sabre: Well that's great news isn't it. I just hope Brain goes ahead and books the match because it would be a great match for me, for Luther and for OCW.
Josh Landers: Do you care to expand on any on any of those points.
Sabre: Sure Josh, firstly it is pretty obvious why the match is good for me because it gives me a chance to win another piece of gold, as you know Josh I'm currently without gold and that is a situation I don't like to find myself in, so a match with Luther gives me a good chance to remedy that situation. Plus I love a good hardcore scrap. I've only been competing in standard matches for the last couple of months so a hardcore match would allow me to show tho se vicious tendencies that I get from time to time. Secondly the match will be good for Luther because he will get the chance to show everyone how good he really is, so far Luther is unbeaten but he has yet to face off against a man of my calibre, he has faced some good opponents but none of them have held the OCW world title, so Luther therefore hasn't had a chance to show us what he can really do, well against me he will get that chance because when its comes to OCW you don't get anyone better than me. Being the Ultimate Fighting Machine I will be more than able to give Luther that ultimate test to see if he really has what it takes to be top dog around here, because if he beats me he might just have a good claim to that title. And thirdly it will be good for OCW because the fans will have a great match to watch. I think it almost guaranteed that Luther and I will put on an outstanding match, a possible match of the year candidate. So therefore if Brain books the match I think it will be a big ratings winner.
Josh Landers: If the match does go down do you have any preference regarding a match type?
Sabre: I just want a straight up hardcore match so we can see who is the better hardcore competitor between Luther and myself. I don't want any outlandish gimmicks getting in the way of proving whose the best. No fancy cages, no scaffold and definitely no roof tops. Just Luther and I and a whole truck full of weapons. Both of us giving one hundred and ten percent until there is only one man left standing. That is the kind of match I want Josh and I'm sure a top line competitor like Luther will give me that kind of match.
Josh Landers: Well we will have to wait and see if Brain books the match or not, anyway moving away from Luther to your opponent for this week, Joey 'The Devastator' Jackson. Have you got any words for him at this time?
Sabre: Sure I'll give you a few words on him if that's what you want but surely you'd rather discuss something a little bit more interesting such as the trigonometry, believe me Josh anything even mathematics is more interesting than Joey 'The Devastator' Jackson.
Josh Landers: Well he is your opponent this week so I think it would be best if we talked about him.
Sabre: Well if you want to we'll talk about him but I think that calculus would be a better topic of conversation.
Josh Landers: Maybe later, for now a couple of words on Joey 'The Devastator' Jackson will suffice.
Sabre: He sucks! There's a couple of words for you Josh.
Josh Landers: I didn't mean a couple of words literally, it was only a figure of speech, perhaps you would care to elaborate a little bit more on your opinions of Joey 'The Devastator' Jackson.
Sabre: Okay I'll give you a few more words he is without a shadow of a doubt the biggest the biggest piece of garbage I've ever seen step into a wrestling ring, and believe me Josh I've seen some big jackasses in my time as a wrestler, but Joey 'The Devastator' Jackson takes being a jackass to a whole new level. I've never seen a man before I saw Joey 'The Devastator' Jackson who had such an inflated opinion of himself. Most of the big egos in OCW have egos because they have accomplished something, they've won titles, they are near the top of the rankings or they at least have a winning record, but my opponent this week has none of those three things, because in terms of wrestling he has absolutely nothing. All he seems to do is remind of us of how great he is then he loses, then he'll talk about that result being a fluke and tell us once again how great he is then he'll lose again. It's always the same with Joey 'The Devastator' Jackson, and I for one think that act is wearing a bit thin, perhaps it is about time he acknowledged how much of a loser he really is, how he has never beat any half decent wrestler throughout his OCW tenure, and how he has absolutely no skills.
Josh Landers: Pretty harsh words there.
Sabre: Harsh but fair, and I'm sure all the other OCW wrestlers will agree with those words.
Josh Landers: Recently Joey 'The Devastator' Jackson had some harsh comments for you, how do you respond to those comments.
Sabre: Alas Josh I can't answer that question because I couldn't understand a bloody word Joey 'The Devastator' Jackson was saying you see Josh I only speak English, French, German and Spanish. Joey 'The Devastator' Jackson was speaking none of those languages so I couldn't understand him you see Josh I can't speak gibberish so I can't understand a word he says.
Josh Landers: Well basically he talked about how you would know fear when you faced him on Totality, that you would be a non-contender until at least the pay per view, that he would make you bleed, that he knows how you wrestle and that he would not be sabreized.
Sabre: Blimey I didn't know he was capable of making five points in one speech that must be a record for him, anyway I'll address those points. Firstly, I'll know fear will I, the only fear I'll experience when I face Joey 'The Devastator' Jackson is the fear that the match might last longer than thirty seconds. You see Josh I don't want to be in the ring for longer than that amount of time with my opponent this week because being in the ring with him demeans me, he is so not in my league, I'd rather be in the ring with a blind one armed leper than Joey 'The Devastator' Jackson. Luckily though Josh I will not have to experience that fear because I will destroy Joey 'The Devastator' Jackson in less than thirty seconds with yet another awesome sabrecrusher. Secondly I'll not be a contender until at least the pay per view. I take it from that he means he's going to injure me, yeah right like that is ever going to happen. It will take way more than Joey 'The Devastator' Jackson has to injure me. I've been in the ring with guys who are millions of times better than Joey 'The Devastator' Jackson and I haven't been injured once. I think Joey 'The Devastator' Jackson should be reminded of just how tough I am, and to do that he need look no further than my performance at New Beginning. I competed in a 60 minute Iron Man match against Blade Helms, I competed in that ring about 3 times as long as Joey 'The Devastator' Jackson has ever competed for. Naturally I won, but what makes that fact even better and proves just how tough I am is the fact that the very next night I had another match and I won that one too. I am toughness personified, I can just kee p on competing and competing, no matter how much abuse I've suffered in the ring. So it will take way more than a little boy like Joey 'The Devastator' Jackson to take me out. Thirdly he will make me bleed, once again his prediction will prove wrong because Joey 'The Devastator' Jackson doesn't have the power to make me bleed, he's just a weak weak man. He couldn't even make the lowest grade CWF competitor bleed. And even if I did bleed so what, I'm a tough man a little blood isn't going to slow me down. A little blood will not stop me from kicking Joey 'The Devastator' Jackson's ass into the middle of next week. Because unlike Joey 'The Devastator' Jackson I don't pass out at the sight of blood, if anything it spurs me on to even greater performances, not that I need a great performance to get past my loser of an opponent this week. Fourthly he knows how I wrestle, that is a complete and utter lie because if he had really watched my matches he would know I adopt different approaches for each match just to keep my opponent off guard. Against Chris Kostoff and Chris O'Hann I used a technical approach, against Damien I went for brawling and against Blade Helms I ad opted a power approach. And I might add at this time that I am equally world class in all those approaches. So you see Joey 'The Devastator' Jackson there is no way you can know how I will wrestle because my style changes every match, but whichever style I use against you it will be enough to beat a nobody like you. And Lastly Josh saying he will not be sabreized. I think it's pretty clear by looking at the two of us, looking at our records, our matches and our skills that I am easily the better man therefore I will win the match and Joey 'The Devastator' Jackson will be Sabreized.
