When the scene opens we can hear the OCW theme music playing, we
can also see several video clips showing some OCW action, this particular set
of clips can mean only one thing, it’s time for the not very regularly talked
about OCW Weekly Recap Show. The clips then stop and the scene changes to one
which resembles a news room, in this news room we can see Shane Parker and
Lisa Blunt sitting behind a news desk. On the wall behind the desk is a big
sign saying OCW Weekly Recap, just so we know which show we’re watching. The
OCW theme music then dies down and Shane Parker begins to speak.
Shane
Parker: Hello everyone and welcome to the OCW Weekly Recap show with me Shane
Parker.
Lisa
Blunt: And me Lisa Blunt.
Shane
Parker: This week we’ve seen a lot of action here in OCW, so let’s start off
from the very top from the last edition of Blast.
Lisa
Blunt: Blast certainly was a wild show this week, a hell of a lot of action
went down, but I think the biggest news was undoubtedly the firing of Dave
Martin as General Manager, and the indefinite suspension of Ryan Trent.
Shane
Parker: Yes that was quite something wasn’t it, and I for one was quite
surprised to see that happen, but if my eyes Mr Middle was totally justified
to discipline them in that way, their behaviour over the last few days has
been quite reprehensible.
Lisa
Blunt: I’ve got to agree with you there Shane. Also on Blast we saw a number
of great matches, most noticeably El Nutso beat Tito Bennett and will now
face off against Rick White for the Blast Title next week.
Shane
Parker: We also saw Painkiller lose his second straight match. Although
Painkiller claims that he lost both those matches on purpose.
Lisa
Blunt: I’m not so sure about that Shane, I think he lost both those matches
legitimately, because it’s my firm belief that the standard of competition in
OCW is so high that on any given day any wrestler can beat any other wrestler
even the Ultimate Champ.
Shane
Parker: I think you’ve got a point there, and with PK’s ego he’s never going
to lose on purpose is he.
Lisa
Blunt: Agreed, anyway as good as the El Nutso, Tito Bennett matches and the
Pain Killer Amos Stamos matches were I think the match of the night was the
hardcore match between Sabre and Dan Downtown. That match was so intense and
both competitors gave it their all to ensure that no will forget their match
in a hurry.
Shane
Parker: And the way Dan Downtown took it to Sabre was very impressive, he
really showed everyone that he can cut it in OCW.
Lisa
Blunt: But equally impressive was the way that Sabre dug deep, took some on
Dan’s best shots and still managed to pick up the win, showing everyone why
he’s the Ultimate Fighting Machine and the two time Aggression Champion.
Shane
Parker: Speaking of Sabre, a couple of days ago he and Magenta both signed
new six month OCW contracts that can only be a good thing for us, and also
speaking of Sabre, last Tuesday he, Magenta and Frank Edwards were on hand to
open the new Omega Diner in Atlanta, Let’s go and take a look at these
exclusive pictures of that historic event.
The
scene now changes, we are currently outside the Omega Diner deep in the heart
of the most exclusive shopping district in Atlanta. At the moment the door to
the diner is closed and has a large red ribbon in front of it. Standing near
the ribbon are Sabre, Magenta, Frank Edwards and a few prominent Atlanta
Citizens, all around these people are OCW fans waiting to see some of the
favourite wrestlers and to see the opening of the diner. As the camera
focuses on the crowd a lot of them can be heard shouting OCW chants. The camera
then moves back to Frank Edward, who has a mic in his hand, he then begins to
speak.
Frank
Edwards: Hello good citizens of Atlanta, and welcome to the official opening
of the Omega Diner.
There is
a cheer from the crowd.
Frank
Edwards: I’m telling you all now if you want great food, great entertainment
and guest appearance from OCW’s top wrestlers this is the place to come and
If you want to go to the newest and hippest night spot in the whole of
Georgia then the Omega Diner is the place to go. Anyway without further ado
let me hand over to the man who will officially be opening the Omega Diner,
and that person is Our Aggression Champion Sabre.
Frank
hands Sabre the mic, Surprisingly Sabre gets a cheer, but then again people
used to cheer anyone in WWE New York even if it was Albert so I guess the
same goes for the Omega Diner.
Sabre:
When Paul Middle wanted somebody to open this fine diner it came as no
surprise that he chose me to do it, because after all this diner is pretty
soon going to be recognised as the number one restaurant in America so
therefore he’d want his biggest star to do the honours. Can you just imagine
it if Middle had picked someone like Painkiller, Bobby D, Amos Stamos, JMK or
El Nutso to open this place, it would be a nightmare wouldn’t it as all those
clueless idiots wouldn’t have any idea what to do, and you can guarantee that
no one from the media would have turned up to see those lightweight
celebrities, because no one cares about them. Luckily Middle wisely chose me to
do the job, and therefore this opening will go down without a hitch, the
media are out in force to watch this event and just through sheer association
with yours truly this diner will become one huge success. Anyway enough of
the chit chat you all came to see a diner been opened so that’s what I’ll do
right now.
Sabre is
now handed a huge pair of scissors, he then takes these scissors and cuts the
ribbon which was in front of the diner main entrance. When he does this the
crowd cheers again.
Sabre: Now with that out of the way it gives me great honour to
know that Magenta and I are going to be the first ever Omega Diner customers
and we’ll be the first to sample the great food they have on offer here.
Sabre,
Magenta, Frank Edwards and the prominent Atlanta Citizens now go into the
diner. When they do this we can see that the diner is very nicely decorated
and definitely has a touch of class about it. We can also see a lot of
wrestling paraphernalia on the walls and lots of television screens showing
OCW action, the one closest to Sabre is currently showing the iron man match
between Sabre and Blade Helms from Version One, a match which Sabre won I
might add. We can also see a section of the diner dedicated to selling OCW
merchandise, however as you would expect most of the diner is taken up by the
chairs and tables all of which have been set out for customers. Sabre,
Magenta and Frank Edwards then proceed to sit in one of the booths, with the
civic dignitaries sitting in the next booth. Immediately as everyone sits
down a waitress is on hand to give everyone menus. Sabre, Magenta and Frank
then proceed to have a good look at the menu to see which of the fine foods
they want.
Sabre:
This is all very tempting, but I think I’ll have to go for the Sabreburger,
in fact the sabreburger sounds so tempting that I’ll have three of them.
Magenta:
It’s got to be the Magenta Kebab for me.
Sabre:
What about you Frank, I see there’s no Frank Edwards related food so you’ll
have to settle for something else.
Frank
Edwards: I’ll go for the PK Pie then, that sounds quite delicious.
Magenta:
We might as well order deserts while we’re here, now as tempting as the
Stamos Strudle is I think I’ll give it a miss and settle for some Jakkob
McCake.
Sabre:
Good choice Magenta, I’m going for the Lisa Blunt Tart, with a name like that
how could I possibly resist.
Frank
Edwards: And I’ll have the El Nutso Pudding.
The
waitress who has been standing by for the last few moments, takes down the
order and goes off to the kitchens.
Frank
Edwards: Sabre while we’re waiting for our food, perhaps you could answer a
few questions for me.
Sabre:
I suppose so, but I was kind of getting into the Sabre Blade Helms match on
that monitor over there, I just can’t get enough of seeing me beat that
bastard to a pulp.
Frank
Edwards: Well if you just put that aside for a few moments we can begin,
firstly before we get into your match against JMK and Amos Stamos, I’d like
to know your opinion on the firing of Dave Martin and the suspension of Ryan
Trent.
Sabre:
Trent been suspended can only be seen as a good thing, because even at the
best of times having Trent in OCW really does suck, and as for Dave Martin,
good riddance to him to, I always thought the guy was a jerk the moment he
didn’t book me for a match on his first week in the job so I’m definitely
glad to see the back of him.
Frank
Edwards: So you’d turn down that offer me made to you last week on Blast
then.
Sabre:
Well since he doesn’t work for OCW anymore his offer is worthless anyway, but
even if he was still here, I’d still tell him to stick his offer up his arse
because there is no chance in hell that I’d ever accept an offer to become
someone else’s underling. If I’m in some form of group I’m the one in charge,
not some pencil pushing gimp who could never cut it as a real wrestler. So if
Dave was still here I’d tell him to politely piss off, and anyway I have more
money than I know what to do with in my bank account so even if I was the
kind of man who was prepared to beat people up for payoffs there would be no
way he could afford me, anyway he’s not part of OCW anymore so there’s no
need to refer to him anymore is there.
Frank
Edwards: Okay then onto your match, you’re up against two of OCW’s biggest
guns this week so you could be in for a very tough time indeed on Monday
Night.
Sabre:
I seriously doubt that Frank, McKain might have some ability but it ludicrous
to suggest that he has a chance of beating me. These days McKain is no more
than a babbling simpleton whilst I’m the Ultimate Fighting Machine and
therefore I should have no problem at all. And when it comes to Amos Stamos I
just don’t rate the guy at all. Loads of people seems to think he’s really
good and could become the biggest star in OCW history, but personally I think
he stinks. To me he’s nothing more than a Sabre wanabee, everything he does
seems to be similar to stuff I’ve done in the bad but he never does it as
well as me. Firstly just like me he had a movie career, but while I was
starring in box office smashes, he was only in crappy straight to video B
movies, then he tries to act like some big bully round here, which is a role
I currently have in this company, but he fails miserably in this role because
no one is intimidated by him in the slightest whilst deep down you know that
every single wrestler on the roster is terrified of me. Then he tries to act
like the big man, but come on look at him he’s not big at all and compared to
me and my amazing body which I’ve had ever since the beginning of my Rugby
days he’s just a little pip squeak, and then finally he goes and beats
Painkiller a week after I did.
Frank
Edwards: You’ve got to admit though, that anyone who beats Painkiller
deserves to be respected.
Sabre:
Perhaps, but Stamos didn’t beat PK as convincingly as I did. I whipped PK’s
butt into the middle of next week while Stamos just got plain lucky. Just
face facts Frank, every thing Stamos does is a pale imitation of what I’ve
done in the past and that is why I’ll kick his ass on Monday and pick up yet
another win. Believe me Frank, on Monday Jakkob McKain and Amos Stamos are
going to be well and truly Sabreized and there isn’t a damn thing they can do
about it.
The
waitress now returns to the table with the food that Sabre, Magenta and Frank
have ordered all of it looks absolutely delicious
Sabre:
Okay Frank, enough of the chit chat, let’s tuck into the grub.
The
scene then fades to black.
